If the Schiano stuff is true, blame Peyton and Fulmer too

If, and I do mean if, the Schiano rumors are true, then Peyton and Fulmer are complicit in this decision. It is known that Currie has shared information with them and taken their thoughts into consideration. I don’t believe the Schiano news, but if it is true our living TN legends got behind it. I wonder if all of the mattress burners would take the same line with these two if they came out in support of it.

Just don't see Manning backing this hire. His past and his brother's past with this man while in the NFL just makes it too much for me to think Peyton wanted him here as coach. Many NFL players that were coached by this guy hated him too. Just amazing Currie could make TN football worse at this point but he did.

Currie said don't believe any rumors and he would talk when a decision is made. I haven't heard him talk.

Manning and Schiano have tangled over NFL kneelers. Fulmer was pushed out by Currie. Currie built a relationship with Schiano while at KSU. If Currie announces Schiano he should be tarred and feathered.

If it isn't true Currie should come out and say so to alleviate all the stress across Vol Nation. Since has hasn't done that, I tend to believe it's true.

Completely agree. I’ll stick with my earlier statement that all of this activity is Currie borrowing a move from Tyrion Lannister to figure out who he leaks are and who they are leaking to. Tell different insiders differing information see what comes to the surface

Exactly my thought. If this is all untrue Currie needs to speak now and set the record straight. Somebody, either him or someone above him, is going to have to do/say something soon.
