Still swallowing the Auburn Crow?
As crazy as I think it is to talk in absolutes . . . It is obscene the way Florida has owned this rivalry since 1990.
I cannot explain it. I was an undergrad in the 80's and that game was everything. Nowadays, honestly, its on par with South Carolina. Sort of a watch out and don't get caught napping game, but not one where we are really worried about not having the better team going into it.
I never said Florida was guaranteed to beat Auburn. I posted that I thought Florida COULD win, but I never said it was a sure thing and in fact I said that the Auburn game worried me a lot -- for precisely the reasons we lost, which is to say being at Auburen and getting thrown out of synch by the crowd.
But this weekend Florida is a mortal lock. Georgia has no chance. None. Zilch. Nada.
The only advantage UGA could hope for is if Pollack, Greene, Walker, Ward, Davis, Thurman and Edwards show back up in the red black Saturday.Georgia has no preasure at all and Fla has everything to lose. That to me means the dogs have a big advantage.
