If Tennessee loses to USC, it is guaranteed to have a losing SEC record for the third straight year — something that hasn’t happened since 1962-64, when the Volunteers had three coaches in three years and went 2-6, 3-5 and 1-5-1.

Well that should give Dooley the record then. He did in his short tenure what previously took 3 coaches to obtain.

UT hasn't had a winning record in the SEC since 2007! Ouch.

Dooley can't break the good records so his plan is to break all the bad records. So far so good.

You had better prepare yourselves. This guy is a lawyer not a coach. Remember when he was hired no one else wanted the job.

I was a freshman in high school in 62 and listened to every game each week on the radio. Yes we lost but i still was a fan and could not wait for each Saturdays game i could not even tell you our record those three years, but I never missed listening.

Was that the case, or was it because we didn't come up with enough money to get someone better?

Circumstances surrounding UT during the coaching search made UT radio active, it certainly wasn't the Tennessee brand or tradition. :hi: :twocents: Right now things are just... As the saying goes," this too will soon pass."(but not quickly enough) :dunno:

Wrong, the fact is that Hamiltin wouldn't open up the check book. There were good candidates who were interested in the job. The money was not right!
