That usually happens when you’re best players don’t play.
Did you expect to be better without Smith?
Did you expect to be better with Chandler and JJ banged up and not playing much?
Our best RB, Best OL, and maybe best WR either out or playing very little and people seem to be surprised that we are not playing as good? Hmmm, that’s a head scratcher

I expect to be able to score more than 1 offensive Td vs a middle of the road CusA team. I expect a team who's lost 2 in a row to be tired of losing. I expect a group of guys who achieved the worst record in school history last year to not want to duplicate it. Is that too much to expect?

I said after Auburn that the team that played that day had the ability to win out. Tbey are no longer THAT team. What a mess. Sad to see my beloved VOLs fall to such depths. And worst of all, it’s going to take a lifelong Bammer to bring us back who was hired by the most hated man in Bama. Talk about irony. If Fulmer and Pruitt can pull this off, it could be a pretty amazing 30 for 30 or even a 6 part docu-series.

I am sure they want all that too, tired of losing: mission accomplished, they won. Score more points: OL would be a bad CUSA line, top RB, WR non factor, I’d be happy with just a win.
0-8 in SEC last year , already got that beat, so there you go 2 of your expectations checked!

The team that played against Charlotte won’t win another game this year, much less 2 more wins.

If the team that defeated Auburn shows up, 2 more wins are a real possibility.


Unfortunately, I don’t see any wins left in this Vol team, but pray I wrong

Well, 4-8 is still 4-8 in my book.

If thats what you expect from Tennessee football, then fine, but I'm not paying $880 per seat per year to watch "intramural football". This team is a disgrace and an embarrassment to those teams in the past who were limited talent-wise but played with a lot of heart. But you enjoy. You've got your 1-7 record staring right at you and 1-15 over the last two yrs. Maybe you can get a "participation" trophy for them.

Ever heard of Vince Dooley? How about Pat Dye? No? Look up Darrel Royal. See where these 3 were championship winning coaches and then see where each went to school. BTW, Bo Shembechler, without argument Michigan's greatest coach, was an assistant for several years at tOSU.

No. We will be lucky to beat Vandy. With our OL, we will be lucky to score very much against any team left on our schedule.

Oh, I’m not against it at all. I know the story of all of those coaches. I just think it’s ironic. That’s all. I still think it’d make an incredible 30 for 30 IF we somehow end up winning another national championship under Pruitt.
