Would you still want to play it to say we made it to the SECG? Even with a second blow out?

Or would you rather see Florida win out and get demolished in the SECG?

I know I know the goal is to win our division but given these scenarios above what would you rather see?

Hopefully we will be more healthy then and give them more of a game.

Is this a serious question? Yes, you want to go to Atlanta. Recruits pay attention. Even if you're blown out, it shows that you're closer than you've been in ten years. Missing out on Atlanta does not show that.

Win out and get another crack at them with ALL our VOLS healthy . f the gators and tide.

More of them healthy. At least 2 of them are not in that mix including our best LB. Assuming we dont have anymore go down between now and then.

Should field a better team but Im not sure that changes the result.

Yep it's a serious question. We're not close if we get our butt handed to is this ugly again. And it could affect which bowl we go to, or don't. Hypothetical .

This. Why as a Vol fan would you not want to get to Atlanta?

First I never said I didn't want to go to Atlanta. I posed the question to see what others thoughts are. Getting blown out is painful. Seeing Florida win the east when we beat them would suck to.

If we're much healthier and have revenge on our minds, we can give them a game.

I hope that's the case. It's possible.

Was in Rivals today. Should see the film on the 5 star RB that Alabama has coming in. Good Lord! Even though we are top 10 in recruiting we still have a big deficit.

Look, Bama is the most talented team by any measuring stick.

But would I like another shot at them with a much healthier group and bye week, while not coming off one of the hardest four-game stretches in college football? Absomf'inglutely!

I'd take going to Atlanta and losing over not going any day.

Peyton said it himself during the game - "You get to Atlanta, and after that anything can happen." You'll never win if you're not in position to win.

Well I guess go back to the original question. It is not would you want another shot at them. If the results ended up the same as today would you still be glad we played in the SECG? Not would you want another shot at them.

And get their **** beat in again??

Let the gators have it and we go to a decent bowl where we play a ****ty big 10 team for a third year in a row.

I'm torn in this. People remember who came in 1st. Rarely who came in 2nd, unless the beat down is awful. Could actually work to be demoralizing for our players if we get our a$$ handed to us just like today again. Right before a bowl game and right before bowl selection.

Gimme the rematch in Atlanta with our depleted roster healthier and our subs with more experience. Bama is the best there is but I want to see us compete at our best (or better).

Cause Kirkland Jr (the only defensive player we are likely to get back) could keep 39 points off the board???

This is perfect! On Dec 3rd, Bama will be over-confident and we'll wipe the floor with them. Then, we will be SEC Champs. And no one will even remember this little exhibition game.

You're absolutely showing you don't know much with every post you make.

I know you're hurting right now. But this game is not the defining moment of our season. Think about who comes back...hint, it's more than DKjr
