Well I know.. but still its just annoying to see all these "fans" give up so easily on things that are up and coming... It cant be the 90's all the time but we will be back to that level someday!

thats the big question, and we all know its not because we have so many big time coaches begging to be hired that we can't decide. it's still early, but, it's been long enough to close the deal if someone was interested. can't help but think we are going down our list of coaches, hope we don't have to go much further down the list!

I am still holding out hope for Marlin Lane. I think he gets over that mental block resulting from his knee injury and will run with purpose, especially with some healthy competition this spring.

Not really giving up on Lane, need depth too. And to look at the future when Lane is gone. Just excited for the new young men we do get.

lets see....if an announcement is not made monday...why would they wait til after monday....you had a dc just the other day "tearfully" decline to come back to tenn, where he loved and also knoxville, where he loved.....one , if not the best dc to ever walk the sidelines of this university....could he "reconsider"....skeeter said we would probably be surprised in a good way at the hire....hum

Didn't skeeter say they wouldn't announce Shannon before Monday? That way the hype wouldn't fade so quickly and could get mentioned during the National Championship game. It may have been someone else but I haven't given up hope yet...

I think Marlin will be at least better than Poole was last year...

If Shannon isn't hired, I wanna hear what the hell happened. Too much smoke from posters here not looking for attention. Sure there are some trolls but too many of our guys said Shannon. Something happened. Which one of the "insiders" were absent tonight? There is your LSU or Bammer troll.
