If Memphis wins it all, which I don't think they will....UNC looks to be peeking at the right time, BUT,......if Memphis goes to the dance and cuts down the nets, Tennessee will have beaten the last three National Champions, in the year they won it non the less.

Not the most admirable stat to own, but at least a little bit a bragging rights I think.........

No guys, this is a good thing. Soon all the teams will throw their regular season games against us in hopes of winning a national title. 28-0 regular season here we come!

If they hit their free throws, they have a legitimate shot against anyone they play.

My goodness how quickly people forget how bad the big 11 really is, and how inconsistent Michigan State was this year.

Memphis will not win it all. They will hit 55% of their free throws in at least one of their games left, between Texas, UCLA, and UNC/KAN, and it will be the death of them.

I think Memphis has an excellent chance to win it all. I will be pulling for them. Should Memphis run the table now, the Vols victory would look pretty sweet. The problem I have is we went downhill after that game and the game ticked Memphis off and look at them now. They killed Michigan State, a good ball team that had a win over Texas by 6 and only lost to UCLA by 5.

and some people don't realize the level of talent that Memphis brings is higher than everyone, with the possible exception of KU.

I would love to see a UCLA/Memphis matchup. Collison/Rose, Shipp/CDR, Love/Dorsey. Those would be some great matchups. I still would take UCLA though

If KU and Tiger High meet in the National Championship, I would assume that Self would try to throw Jackson, Arthur, Kaun, and Aldridge at Dorsey from the get go.

Texas just did not have enough big bodies to do anything against the inside presence of Memphis once Atchley went to the bench with two fouls early.

If the game is called well, Arthur and Kaun will be able to abuse Dorsey and the Tigers in the post.

NOBODY will abuse Memphis in the post. Kaun doesn't have the ability to abuse anyone. You've forgotten that Memphis has 2 other guys to throw in there that are as big and athletic as anyone KU has.

Memphis killed Texas who killed us but then we beat Memphis...what does it all mean??? Nothing.

I don't care what conference Memphis comes from -- they are playing very well right now and I'd love to see a Memphis-UNC matchup. It would be a great game.

I think a Memphis and KU would be a better game. I think Memphis would handle UNC better than KU. That's IF they can get past UCLA.

I wish Dorsey would do his Shaq/Gorilla dunk in TH grill and finish what Gerald Henderson started last year

Word!! I have to listen to moronic Memphis fans from time to time explain the newspaper clipping hanging in their offices of the '96 only victory in football over Tennessee in their history. Tennessee fans talking about beating Memphis in basketball this year is no better.

unless Memphis comes out and can't throw it in the ocean, i don'tthink UCLA can run with Memphis, their looking real good right now
