will they tear down the goal posts?

I think they would...

26 straight defeats. Can you imagine?

They will retire the enitire football program and go out on top. Why wait 25+ years for another victory.

Since they will only have about 70 fans (mostly mothers of the players), I doubt they would even be able to...lol. Doesn't matter. Volls by 14+.

If they added Vandy's fans, that's about 70 more mothers. Combined, that might do it.

Still... probably should plan a Tupperware party instead.

No, win or lose they'll probably be rushing for the exits in an effort to either get over to Rupp or back to their couches at home so as not to miss a single moment of the basketball game later in the day.

The term meltdown would be an understatement to describe what the Tennessee fanbase would do. Then again, I would rather it happen now rather than in later years when the team is stacked.

Because like it or not, the odds are it has to happen at some point...right?

I went out with this girl from middle Tennessee a few times in August of 1985. She was a pharmacy major at UK and went back to college. I drove up to Lexington to visit her one weekend. She gave me a silly Kentucky hat to wear and we went to see UK beat Tulane in football. She later dumped me in October. So I put a curse on their football team that they would never beat the Vols until she came back around.

Sandy, If you are still out there, this is all your fault...

Believe me...its not a week UT can take OFF...UK would like nothing less than to beat us...to knock UT out of a bowl..

You got that right! They would probably give Joker a ten year extension.

I have an old high school buddy who was a Vandy student when Whit Taylor beat us in Nashville in 1982. To this day, he still has a piece of that goal post. They went nutso!!!

Win, loss, doesn't matter. They'll always have this to fall back on:
