and it will by all accounts, we probably won't see 10-15 passes tomorrow. Gonna be a grind it out game. It may not be very high scoring either. I see 24-27 points tomorrow.

I'm hoping we don't see more than 15 passes per game the rest of the season. Just enough to keep the run game going.

You probably wouldnt have seen many passes anyways. OU has a pretty good secondary, but their front 7 should be eaten up by our OL and the quality of all our backs beating on them all game.

I would be highly surprised if the OU offense crosses midfield before sometime in the 4th quarter. The only thing that concerns me about the rain is, it usually tends to nullify a large speed difference in players, and that is probably our most evident advantage over their guys on the outside.

I predict 31-3. We can get in the 40's if the D chips in with some Pick 6's.

You might see 6+ between both teams, IMO. We don't play out in the rain much.
Gosh don't say that, it will be close if that's that case...JMO

Hopefully they have worked on ball securit with the RBs since the first game, and WRS so we don't see much fumbling

You have to think positive. I see a 56-6 game tomorrow. I think Monte will have the D ready for the rain. And I think our RB's will be fine holding onto the ball and breaking out for some long runs. It's also a "statement" game. Tennessee is known for it's running backs and we have a stable full.

I see us using the same offensive philosophy my favorite pro team, the 49ers, is employing this year. Pound the ball un-mercifully, throw short most of the time except for a down the field play action pass every 2-3 series...... then put the rest in your incredible defense's hands. I already cant wait to see what this team is capable of next year with a lot of starters coming back, but MOST important to our future success is who WONT be coming back next year.

It will quite possibly be a very heavy rain turning the game into a good ole-fashion sloshy mess. That will definitely hurt the movement of the offenses. Probably 28-3.

Now they are saying the rain should be tapering off by kickoff. That is what they are saying in Chattanooga about the game.

Here's a crazy thought... I think our defense almost outscores our offense tomorrow.

I think we'll get 2 rushing td's, 1 passing, 1 fg.... and I see us returning a fumble and an INT for tds....

offense beats our defense by 10.

I think maybe G8terh8ter Eric may be right.I think a lot of us might need to change our scores and pass attempts on the pick contest.

Bring on the rain.. I'm ready for light, heavy.. You name it. Got the poncho and rain suit on stand by. I'm sure the team went through the normal wet ball stuff. I don't think it will change much of the game plan. Though, I'm sure Kiffin would like to work on the passing game, he also knows the situation. I think I said Vols-31, Ohio-6 in another thread.. I'll stick with that. GO VOLS!

I think if it rains tomorrow , this will be a huge advantage to our running game , hopefully we establish that great run game with our two terrific backs montario and brice. And seeing more of Oku would be nice. Has anyone seen Ohio U play this season !

It is a major advantage to us if it rains heavily. It might lower the overall score, but it also makes any chance of an upset slim.
