If it is this bad at 1-3 WTH does 1-6 look like?

I think it will be better around here. The quitters will have popped smoke and left and we will have reached the acceptance stage. Things won’t be civil because that is just who we are, but everyone still around will mostly have a sense of camaraderie in the misery. Wins will still be a long shot but murderer’s row and the guaranteed blowouts will be done for the most part.

Oh it will look great. Clearly the program is headed in the right direction,....well according to volnation anyway.

itll be bad. Just circle back in a few weeks and we’ll all get to experience it...unfortunately. Pruitt’s ship has sailed here. If he could’ve just been decent he’d have gotten 4 years or so. He’s going to have the biggest support in the world in fulmer. But even fulmer will eventually realize he needs to cut bait. Just so shocking that’s the guy he felt (after talking with him) that would lead the program back to glory. What the hell man. Fulmer definitely needs to leave with Pruitt

Like some on here, I haven't liked any hire since Fulmer was fired. But, I gave them the benefit of a doubt and listened to their coach hype speak. Pruitt is no different than the rest in my opinion. I'm tired, y'all. It's been 20 years. I don't have another 20 years in me.

This reminds me of listening to the call in post game show with Tim Priest and Bobby Scott in 1988 which I think was hosted by Randy Smith. After we had just lost to Alabama to fall to 0-6, a caller asked Tim and Bobby if they thought we would ever win a national championship in his lifetime... after they bs'ed around for a few minutes, telling the guy to stay healthy, Bobby Scott said that he did believe that Tennessee would win the national championship in ten years. I have always remembered that call... it's kind of eerie how spot on he was.

Anyway, the point of this was that although we are definitely going to be 1-6, maybe even 1-11... it never takes as long as you think to get it turned around in college athletics. We just need the right man leading the way.

Look how many of us are still here, after boy butch and the season we've had so far. Everyone on this board, would love to see the Vols be returned to being the Vols of old, the Vols, Every team in the country dreaded, when coming to Neyland was like showing up for your own execution. None of us like the pathetic bag of crap we've become. We are now the team many schools want to schedule for their homecoming game! Sadly it is getting worse, GA is going to "bitch slap" our entire team. I'm predicting D'andre Swift has a 200 yard game against UT, if he plays 4 quarters. He'll be over 75 yards in the first half. We may be able to stop him, with triple coverage.
