If I were Pruitt, I’d make these guys watch this clip

Juan Jennings is a stud WR. He is as tough and determined as they come and when you add in his athletic ability, it makes him special. Put him on WV's roster and he would be unstoppable IMO. He wins the one on one battles with attitude. I love watching him play.
Juan would have 2000 yds in a season with Grier throwing to him.

Nothing he said was "wrong."

Daniels has been at CBS since 2006. since then, UT has been on CBS 34 times (I think) with a record of 8-26. There were 3 games where UT got the "B" team from CBS. So in UT games on CBS that Daniels has been in the booth, UT's record is 7-24!

It has to be hard for him to find too many positives with UT given their record in CBS.

Don't sell Pruitt short. I'm sure he wasn't happy with losing to UWV in the manner it happened, but Florida is the test. I still think UT will surprise and beat a team they aren't suppose to. His post game comments encourages me CJP is the real deal and it will be reflected on the field of play this year.

This is the truth. Pruitt had no excuses, owned mistakes that were made (cb blitzes), and you could tell that he honestly hates losing. I'm telling you that the way to fix our major problems of what I saw on the field is not motivation, attitude, confidence, technique...it is more star players. WVU had more than we did on O and that was the difference in the game. On D I didn't really notice a huge standout on either side but DKJr looked solid as usual. Pruitt has an easy sell with early playing time and he needs some firepower and soon. This recruiting cycle is as big for us as it was for Saban after 2007.

From a postive standpoint. Did you notice the route running for the first game of the season. I thought our people were right where they were supposed to be. Helton called good pass plays and for the most part we executed. Give credit to coach Johnson.) End quote.
As kookie as it sounds UT should have abandoned the run to a great degree in favor of the pass as UT was executing flawlessly. Pop it 'till they stop it!

Danielson thinks we’re well coached but not very talented. That’s encouraging for the long term at least. Will be a long haul though.

Danielson is wrong about the talent on this team. They are implementing new systems on both sides of the ball. It takes time. Let's see how the team plays by mid season. That will be good indicator of how well this staff is at developing and teaching.
