I would be chomping at the bit to get an offer from UT. It's GUARANTEED playing time early. Clearly, Stephens and Coleman must also be TERRIBLE if they are riding the Pine behind 'Johnston Compton'.

I am guessing there might be some clearing house issues if you were a high scool qb.

Speaking of Coleman....UTC lost to Furman and are now 1-1.Though BJ threw for over 200 yards he had an interception and got rattled on a hit in the game.I guess we would still be in the same shape if he was still on the team.

We have the right coaches but are left with average talent on the o-line and below level talent at QB.

Which brings me back to point A, none of our alternatives were very appealing, the only reason I believe that BJ looked so much better last year is because they hardly let him throw the ball to make a mistake.

FWIW, I have been told that NS is that much more worse then JC. The reason JC wasnt named starter earlier was to push him more. It makes sense, because did anyone ever get the feeling that NS ever had a chance to get it and that it always seemed that JC would be starting. I think Brent even posted back in the spring that JC would be starting QB, he could tell all the way back then.

On a side note, I have heard that NS has horrible attitude, just horrible.

Kinda. The best of the best go where they can play AND compete for championships. people like Matt Barkley that know they're going pro wouldn't go play somewhere that isn't competitive
