All I’ll say is: if you think Venables doesn’t deserve the #1 spot, take one look at him when he’s angry on the sideline.

I know I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side.

Could make one heck of a NIL fundraiser. How many people would donate $100 to the NIL if he grew one? I sure would. Treat it like those fundraisers where a kid gets paid for every book he reads. Then let the biggest donor get to cut the mullet off at the end of the season.

FWIW - IMO, and I'm no prognosticator of prowess here.
Venables and Lea are solid 1 and 2. Both are fit and carry a little fire.
Sark is more like 5th or 6th here.
I would jump Napier over both Sark and Smart only because he has that creepy, south Louisiana, drag you into the swamp and make you disappear look.
Beamer should towards bottom - he just looks like the kid that if you land one hit, he folds up and heads home.
DeBoer should be towards Top 3. When he was here at IU, his workout regimen was crazy, border line legendary....dude is in better shape than he looks.
That puts Heupel borderline Top 5 or 6 ahead of Lebby, Stoops, Kiffin, Freeze, Elko, Pittman, and Kelley.
Drink is in the correct spot.

So really the only ones the guy got right here are 1st and last.

Unless a lot of these guys are trained fighters and I don't know it, Heupel would be favored to win most 1v1s I'd think. He's 6'2 and weighs like 280-300. Unless you hold a notable skill advantage, fighting someone a lot bigger than you are is gonna give you a lot of problems. At 47 he should be young enough to have enough energy for it too.

Size/weight classes exist for a very good reason.

Brian Kelly would get smacked around by EVERYBODY else on this list. He might could beat John Adams, in a slap fight, maybe, but that's about it.

Brother, I dunno how old you are-but as I firmly reach middle aged and look around at my peers-

Those with chrome domes or MPB far outnumber those with a full head of locks

I'm sure any one of those with hair loss issues would give up a substantial amount to even be able to grow a mullet
