If Dooley doesnt fire him then he needs to be fired.Dooley needs to make more than one change on this staff.

Player Bio: Bob Bostad - UWBadgers.com - The Official Web Site of The Wisconsin Badgers Athletics

But no we need a running back coach..Chaney isn't leaving and that is his only saving grace is both OC and O-line coach.(experience)

Guy seems pretty random to me. I'm not doubting he is a good coach for the badgers. But He has no ties to Tennessee and his previous coaching experience included The NM Lobos and San Jose State? I'm just not sure where the OP is coming from on this.

So far as I can tell, nobody on bielemas staff has any ties at all to anywhere in the south.

.... Bob Bostad be the best hire in the country?

Hiestand status is been all over the place this week. Baggett never recruited this week and is gone. Hiestand went on road Thursday. Seems to me that leans more to him being kept... I've had a real problem reading that one.

The OL coach is not the problem, its Chaney. Chaney dictates to Heinstand the blocking schemes he wants taught to the OL to match his play calling, its obvious Chaney just wants to pass

I believe that CDD thinks HH is a really good coach. I do not believe CDD will fire HH this year. The reason I believe that CDD will not fire HH this year is because HH is the highest paid position coach on this staff. He makes around 450 k per year. CDD must really believe he is a GREAT! coach. I do not think he is worth what he is being paid!

Is HH valuable enough of a recruiter to keep him until after NSD and then make the change like we did with Smith? Not saying that is happening just asking if its a possibility.

There will be no more changes on the staff, besides the addition of a RB coach. This is what was told to the players at a team meeting. I do feel that if DD doesn't make any changes to that staff his loyalty to them will cost him his job i.e. coach cut at Ole Miss. If it doesn't cost him this year you will see it next year after we win 6 games.

You are so right! It is good to see people here who really get what is going on. Richt held on too long and nearly got the ax a couple of years ago because he waited to fire "friends". Coaches don't have that luxury. Changes have to be made and if DD won't make them...then he is the one who will end up getting canned. I think Hart will not hesitate if things don't really improve next year.

no he is not.

I think SECjam ITT is correct. likely changes are over unless someone accepts another job..

This is the first post I remember that is saying the players were told no more changes. Did I miss anybody else saying that?

If this is the only person saying this then I have a seriously hard time believing its accuracy. That's not something the kids would have kept in house.

I am not suggesting more changes are coming just that the players weren't told that.

Thanks.

I have asked other creditable posters this and would love your answer. Did Smith know last year he was going to be let go before NSD? Did his recruits know he was going to be let go?

If this is true I don't think the running game will be much better next season unless Chaney makes changes to his scheme.
