If Gran goes to FSU.. would palardy go? Gran recruited the florida area including him.. This would be a huge blow

No, he likes the Vols and the opportunity that he has here. I think the value of the assistant coaches is overrated. These kids pick a school, they understand that the assistant coaches are fluid. Our most important recruiter has been and will always be Lane Kiffin.

Even if Palardy doesn't come... at least we'll still have Mathis. Would very much rather have Palardy though.

Everybody freak out, we're going to lose every single recruit and all our coaches are going to leave us, including Lane. No hope guys. No hope.

Not in this case. Gran has know Palardy for awhile know - like way before his recruitment to Tennessee I believe. Like where ever Gran was at - that was likely where Palardy was heading... or atleast be way in the lead for his services.

the value of the assistant coaches is definitely not overrated. they're one of the reasons we got to a bowl this year and another reason we're doing so well in recruiting. saying otherwise is asinine.

Palardy isn't coming to play for Gran, he's coming to play for Tennessee.

Why the hell is Gran leaving?? If I had known all these guys were going to be hired for one season only, I'd de dissapointed.

**** Gran.....how do you recruit right now for UT when you know you are leaving for a year. It makes everyhting he syas while recreuiting fake. This is bull****. There should be a requirement for comittment with a new coaching staff.

We will be able to offer the same amount FSU does it will be a matter if he wants to stay or go.

He has said he loves Tennessee and can't wait to get to Knoxville...I would be surprised if he went elsewhere. Gran wasn't the only draw for him at UT. He's a fan.

He would have never even been considering Tennessee if not for Gran - but I think since it's so late in the game and now that he's had time to get acquainted with the school and all that he'll stick with the commitment - unless of course FSU was a school he was strongly considering before.

according to rivals.com Gran is recruiting Jeff Luc too

so if we lose Gran, do we have a possibility of losing Luc, before he even commits?
