If Gillislee is out or limited...

And none have the combination of size, speed and instincts of Gillislee.

Joyer is a very good short yardage back, and a wicked blocker.

Matt Jones runs like he weighs 160 lbs instead of 220.

Mack Brown is a serviceable backup, but he's not Gillislee.

I'd like to see the jumbo backfield package of Burton at TB and Joyer at FB if Gillislee is limited and can't play.

If the O-Line can open the holes.. these guys can run through them. Fact.

shift into a 4-3, drop a versatle big over the middle.

zone the middle with 2 of the 3-4 while covering specific gaps in the process (a consverative way to plug a conservative offense)

4-2-5 and use a DB to come around and take out Gillilse's knee
That's unsportsman like, what goes around comes around. :nono:

I pulled mine and it took 3 weeks of not running and cutting to heal. Even after three weeks it still felt like it could happen at anytime. When I took the field again it effected my play because that injury can become mental. I say he doesn't play and if he does he's a tuff dude.

My point was your statement is pure opinion. Just because you say it doesn't mean they are/will be ineffective as that post implies.

I didn't post the word "fact" at the end of my post, so yeah, it's implied that was my opinion.

In your opinion, do you think Jones, Joyer, Brown or Burton are better than Gillislee? Because that was my point...and my opinion.

He's the starter for a reason, I'm not saying they're better BUT If the O-Line can create the gaps needed, yes I think they could be as effective. Opinion.

This is what I am hoping to see if Gilly is limited (especially in the 4th). Everytime Burton runs he runs angry. He has shown that he has plenty of speed and is reliable holding on to the pill. When we need to run it and UT knows it, this is what I would like to see if Gilly is out.

Your argument is kind of making Gillislee a non-factor in the discussion. It equates to: "If the OL is outstanding, it doesn't matter who is in the backfield."

That's not the MO of the gators so far this year. From what I've seen, watching both UF games, Gillislee's talent has been the backbone of your running attack. It's a big deal if he's not in there, or if he's in there at less than stellar performance.

I believe UT's D Line will be the toughest UF has seen so far this year. It will be interesting to see if the holes are big enough for your backups to exploit.

You rang? :)

I don't expect Gillislee to be 100% on Saturday. He wasn't 100% against TAMU.

Unless UF's defense forces turnovers I have little confidence our offense can keep pace with UT's offense.

It should be a classic UT/UF match up from the 90's...except UT will be filling the UF roll and UF will be UT.

Fun n' Gun vs The Grind

UF will score...UT should score more.

Burton is more of a natural runner than Brown or Jones, and to your point he runs like he pissed off.

If I see Hines lined up at TB at any point Saturday night, I might take a hostage.

How will they score?

Dare I say.. throwing a pass?

See, Florida has these things. They're called Wide Receivers and their job is to basically, just go out for a pass and catch the ball. Believe it or not, some of them are actually decent.

That's hilarious that you think your team can do that. Adorable really. :p

Three passing plays have been called in the redzone for the gators this season.

0-2 and a sack. I don't think they can move the ball without a healthy Gillislee, but if they do. I would love to know how they are going to score touchdowns.
