If Gillislee is out or limited...

My biggest concern is how the Vols will come out to play. It seems in the last several years, the players are tight and intimidated before the game starts. If this happens, we will lose again this year.

I really believe the vols are more talented this year, and if they come out with swagger and confidence, they will win this game. Gillislee is a weapon, but if we are on our game it won't matter if he is 100%, Vols win the game.

You rang? :)

Soooooo, what do you think about your coach? I thought initially it was a good hire coming from Texas but the more I see of him the more disappointed I am; time will tell whether he is a good coach but he, no offense intended, sure seems like a jerk because of some of his antics. I understand trying to fire up his team but his demeanor at times looks very immature. Am I wrong on this?

I'd take Al Wilson to teach these boys how to bring the MF'n wood against the gators.

I don't think he's a championship caliber head coach, and I don't think he's the solution for UF long term.

His antics bother rival fans much more than they bother me. His win-loss record against teams that matter bothers me.

A lot of you guys act as if FL hasn't recruited ver well the last 3-4 years....they have and they have capable athletes....I hope the Vols beat them back to the stone age, but I'm not crazy over confident

#114 in the nation in passing yards and #87 in points scored. Verses BGSU and A&M, not exactly powerhouse teams. You sure you have decent WR's? Or maybe the real question is, do you have a QB that can throw accurate down field passes? Oh, I know I know, that genius coach of yours has been "saving" all the good stuff for UT, right? :eek:lol:

BAHAHA! These Florida fans haven't seen good football in so long they forgot what it looks like! They beat one mediocre team that anyone could beat and they think they are a match for us and this offense? Without Gillislee, they are shut out, bad.

I think Muschamp has much more to lose in this game than does Dooley. If UF loses I would think the air goes out of the UF balloon. Of course, it won't help Dooley's case either. Whether we beat UF this weekend or not we'll have a good season no doubt. I just think a lot of UF fans will lose confidence in Muschamp's abilty to coach if they get beat by TN. Us losing to KY last season wasn't good for Dooley either since we had beat them 26 straight times. Just goes to show you you can't overlook a team. That said, we are in year 3 from basically rebuilding from scratch, however, the expectations here are high to win and play well, anything less would be a disappointment.

Carl Pickens, a great memory! I would look for UT to put in more plays to slow down UF's rush, not all screen plays but other stuff maybe just 5 yards deep in the middle of the field. Hard for the secondary to cover when they're aleady moving backward to cover our WRs then go forward to stop the dump pass where the LBs just vacated space rushing. I still say there will be a lot of penalties on UF for Pass Interference trying to slow down our WRs. I can feel it now, curl, curl, curl, then Boom off to the races--Touchdown Tennessee!

I hope so....would love to see the Gators dismembered and Muschamp throwing numerous tantrums

Disagree somewhat. UF fans like myself aren't completely sold on Muschamp, win or lose this weekend. On the other hand, UT appears to have the superior team and they're playing at home.

Given what little we know about both teams, a UT loss at home with the buzz back in Neyland and Gameday in town would be much more devastating for Dooley than UF losing on the road with a punchless offense, with its best offensive player not at 100%.

Fact is, it's too early to know how the outcome of Saturday's game will affect the "hot seat" status of either coach, without the proper context of an entire 12 game regular season.

I agree with this. Both coaches have something to prove this year. Whoever loses, will feel the heat. Dooley has talent and needs to prove he is a good coach.

I don't think FL will be happy to lose to the Vols and I think there are a lot of people who question Muschamps coaching ability as well.

A lot of football still to be played after this game, so its not a must win for either coach, but it will help their cause if they win.
