If Fulmer were told to clean house

gotta agree with GAVol. CPF keeps 100+ athletes eligible so I'm sure he has some academic savvy :p

I'm telling you, I just have a feeling that Hamilton is gonna try to cut the baby down the middle. He's not gonna fire Fulmer I'm afraid, but he will ask for changes. Change meaning new staff members. Hamilton may try to appease the "clean house" crowd by offering them a new staff under Fulmer, and Hamilton can keep the "give Fulmer/Cutcliffe/Chavis another chance" crowd happy because he's at least givng Fulmer a fresh start.

But I'm telling you right now. If Fulmer stays (with or without changes on his staff), this could set up to be one of the most divided and caustic environments ever seen on Rocky Top.

It's already got pretty nasty on the internet between the pro-Fulmers and Anti-Fulmers. I agree man, if we get beat by USC and Kentucky and he is still the coach 2008 will be hostile.

I though that Fulmer could right the ship with a new staff but as Rasputin_Vol points out it could be very dangerous. I dont think we want to go down that road.

let's also not forget that CPF has already made significant changes to his staff in the past 3 years.

at this point, i don't know that anyone with any decision making ability will look past that and determine that the same course of action is required again.

and that's assuming anything happens at all.

but, my money would be on MH not making such an ultimatum. if he does, my confidence in his ability to make decisions would be take a serious hit.
