I don't think any of us are in a position to know who is or who isn't legitimate. This is simply another tweet or update from someone who I dare say has more connections than many of us do. Even I can notice that twitter is much quieter about this being a strong possibility tonight.

Ok after looking at both tweets and thinking about it, first he says we may have gotten Gundy’d as if to imply that Freeze used us as leverage to get a better deal elsewhere. Now his second tweet says the board didn’t approve it.

It can’t be both, seems as if he’s getting false information.

From what I’ve been told Freeze hasn’t even accepted our offer. Pruitt and Fulmer are doing their part. It’s up to freeze to say yes and some of our administration to ok it.

You are saying that we have formally made Freeze an offer... which wasn't cleared by the administration first? That doesn't sound right.

Obviously true but this is a unique case considering the recent history of Hugh Freeze. I believe that Fulmer would get the offer cleared with the administration before presenting it to Freeze.

I don't think Freeze would have to use us to get a better deal for himself. He's a highly wanted commodity. He can pretty much say this is my price, if you don't pay it, the next team will

As for the topic. Depends on who else they go after. I will say going with the lets try this small time guy and hope we have a diamond will probably cause me to find something else to do on Saturdays next season. If you want to compete with the big boys you're gonna have to do big boy stuff and bring in the big names

Yeah but it’s Phil freaking Fulmer. Shouldn’t need approval to make an offer for a football coach.
