If everyone would have came together for Empty Neyland Movement

If everyone had came together for Empty Neyland Movement when it happened the administration would have gotten the clear message then.

Instead people fell for the "true fans" call from the administration.

If Tennessee fans came together then all this would have been avoided and Tennessee administrators would have gotten the clear voice then and Schiano would have NEVER been Tennessee's first choice.

All of this would have been avoided and Tennessee would have been in a great spot to hire the dream list hires.....

Hopeful we get Pruitt today.... will take a few years but what Tennessee is left choosing from he is the best choice. Hope he can get this ship into harbor before it sinks.

We did came together..wanted to go to the game instead of stomping my feet like a teenager with his cell phone taken away

I just read an article that said there is still a mystery candidate that isn't mentioned in the so called final three. It indicated that it could possibly be Chris Petersen, probably the only home run hire left.

But what about those kids on the field? What message are we sending by not coming out to support them? Crappy situation all the way around.

A caller called in yesterday and made a good point.

What if Kelly accepted the UF job and Mullen was Currie's #1 choice? How different would UT be perceived at this point? I'm guessing most fans would have come around and concluded Currie did a good job.

Having Schiano as THE backup plan was Currie's downfall. I'm really glad Schiano isn't UT's head coach. Good coach, just not as HC for UT.

The AD obviously doesn't care about the fans or fielding a winning product. Just bring the sheep through the turnstiles and take their money. Eff them.

I will #ComeTogether around the #EmptyNeyland movement next fall.

with the hire (whomever that may be) we need to "come together" with as much positive energy as we did with the negative energy against the NO hire...we have to make the new coach feel welcome, wanted, and show him the same support and respect we show our VFL's...that will go a long way in showing the recruits, the media, the nation, and the world the reason we are the best fans in college football...WE ARE TENNESSEE, and...

GO AD FULMER AND GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the tickets were already bought. what kind of boycott is that? thats like buying Mayfield milk then refusing to drink it. What good is that? They still got their money.
i get 7 opportunities per year to experience Neyland Stadium. not going to waste it.

Yea it was a crappy situation to be in..... However if the fans came together THEN for change. The storyline would have been much different.

Would have been national praise from media on the fans coming together for change....

Versus when fans came together finally and looked like children then.

Just would be in much better shape if the protest was held then..... Schiano would not have been the first choice. But after the stadium was filled for Empty Neyland the administration just said yea they will take whatever

Most probably are, but not all. Sadly, crybabies come in all ages. One of the worst things about all of this mess is being forced to acknowledge how many of them call themselves Tennessee fans.

People did come together regarding Schiano.

Yes they got the message that could have been handled in house then.....for a Empty Neyland

But not taking action then and instead taking out on the hire made Tennessee a national embarrassment instead of being celebrated fans if the message was sent then.....

Pretty simple PR look.... shouldn't take that much explaining

"Sunshine pumpers" is a stupid phrase, because they don't pump sunshine, they pump piles of crap. "Negavols" are realistic. Deal with it.
