With Eric Gordon and our defensive secondary, we may as well have just stayed home.

Uga is getting all the breaks, ball is bouncing their way, we cause fumbles & can't recover them. And we are making them look like a top 10 team, fuuuuuuu .. dge

On the fumbled punt, did Gordon call for a fair catch?

When a valid fair catch signal is made, the unimpeded opportunity to catch
a free or scrimmage kick is extended to a player who muffs the kick and still
has an opportunity to complete the catch. This protection terminates when the
kick touches the ground. If the player subsequently catches the kick, the ball is
placed where it was first touched (A.R. 6-5-1-I-IV).

This is the rule and is exactly what happened... Somebody needs to hold the reffs accountable...

I thought the exact same thing....and IIRC, didn't UGA get that call go their way last year?

EG is garbage. And Dooley is an idiot if he continues to put him out there.

Gordon called for a fair catch and that should have been our ball. When are these SEC officials going to be held accountable for their mistakes. Players and coaches alike are held to the highest standards of behavoir on and off the field; they are under a microscope for everything they do or don't do. However, the officials are immune to criticism. Now I understand that one crew was suspended for a week last year but more needs to be done. The SEC officials routinely blow calls.
