If Dormady and Guarantano Remain Even By 9/4/17

Do you start a RS Jr who's probably already reached his ceiling in the system over a highly rated RS Freshman who has room to grow in the system? Especially if they're on the same level in the system. All the talking radio heads around Knoxville are say JG is really something special, so it would be a total Butch move to start QD.

And what if QD just tears it up? Has QD reached his ceiling? If so, how and when did it happen?

Talk is cheap. Who says what about a player is completely irrelevant. The youth of the QB doesnt really matter. You play the better QB.

Why don't we consider our history of qbs. We always heard the talk of how good a qb Jonathon Crompton was in practice from the talking heads and coaches. That was Cutcliff, Clawson and Lane Kiffin. Then when we saw him in games, did we think they were all lying, or just stupid? it wasn't until the Ga game in 09 that we saw what observers were seeing in practice. The there was Nathan Peterman. We've all heard what a good qb he could be from observers in practice then we saw him in games. I guess those dumb asses and liars were at it again right? Now the talking heads are carrying the narrative that Peterman was this no good qb that transferred to Pitt and got coached up into this great qb. Coaches here always had confidence in Peterman or he never would have gotten a shot against Fl. Peterman just needed a fresh start in a less intense environment for his chance to have the lights come on.

I guess the moral to this is that you're never going to know who is going to be best on the field until you put them on the field.

The talking heads are hogwash looking to exploit whatever emotional wave they can ride.
