Lol!!! What!?!?

Our fanbase is so retarded sometimes. You would say firing Dooley and having the obligatory story of X amount of coaches in Y amount of years can be overshadowed by a big hire. Why couldn't it do the same in a year? We would have D Green, North and maybe Lawson for our troubles. Yes please.

Yep those recruits are going to be dying to come now that Dooley has produced another 6-6 season and his job is in jeopardy. They were UT leans before they saw the lack of improvement by this team. They will not be signing with UT now but keep hating on posters who can see that. Recruiting this cycle and next will be terrible if Dooley is retained.

21st(current) only on Rivals.....out of top 30 on the majority of recruiting sites.

Even you should be able to see that pattern. If he stays we will barely break top 30 this year and next year top 35 would be a miracle. Time to get a coach in there and save this talent.

Will you have any expectations for next year, even if Bray and CP and Hunter stay, or will you chalk it up as another horrible season?

Personally, I have lost all faith until a new coach is brought in.

i would have expectations, 6-6

I have been an executive recruiter for 11 years. What needs to happen is start having (prob already happened anyways) unoffical contact with the best possibles..line up as best you can then pull the trigger "have the offical search' and then sign guy you already have tent agreement with..Boosters need to act in this capacity

Oh I defnitely would not be surprised if the courtship has already begun, and in fact I'd say it should be starting. But just like that jilted girlfriend, we defnitely need to take our time. I just don't want them rushing again, or Tennessee's return to excelence will be delayed even more.

And again, a program is never permantly damaged... heck look at Notre Dame. Love or hate them, they are looking like things have turned around after two decades of overrated mediocrity. Need to give it a year or two before that's final but one thing is for sure, things can be turned around no matter how dire they are.
