Big, America choose to keep the Change. We can only hope our leaders will lay partisan politics aside and do what's right for our country, I would make the very same statement if Mr. Romney had won. America is not just red and blue, it is red, white, and blue. :peace:

Ronald Reagan once said " We can agree to disagree , and yet be agreeable at the end of the day." :good!:

Not gonna lie I thought this post was spam because it seemed very random. I forgot I had a political Avatar.

I lived in L.A. for over 12 years. Your liberal friends are happy only when you get your way. Then you are the most hostile angry group of people alive. Prime example...Wall Street Protestors. Get out of here with this Cumbaya garbage man. This is a football forum...go slap it to MSNBC somewhere else.

As painful as this season has been, we must still realize we are only 1 good defensive coordinator away from being back in the chase. Yes, even with all the "too many men on the field" timeouts we have taken. Theres simply too many defensive plays where te players are put of position to be effective.

IF dooley is retained for next year it better include an extension beyond that, other wise were gonna have no chance of getting any decent, let alone good, recruits.

So I didn't vote because if he is retained without an extension then it means that the higher ups are willing to see if we really are at rock bottom and if not then how much further this program can fall from grace. Also if he would stay and flops then we will have little to no chance of bringing in big name coaches. All the top talent would def be gone, the line would be gone and the next in line players are unproven. Add in the lackluster recruiting class this year and the lack of recruits we'll get next and you will have a roster, talent wise, thats just as bad, if not worse, than what dooley got to start but without the room to improve it immediately.

I'm hoping and praying Dooley is gone after this year. If he isn't I'll be really upset but I'll still cheer for the players on the field. If they do keep him and don't do it without extending his contract then I'll probably spend all off-season and all next season crying and asking God what I and Tennessee did to deserve this fate.

If CDD is still here next season then I'll hope he does a great job fixing our Defense like he did a great job fixing our running game this past offseason.

If that's done we'll either Win the SEC East Title or be mighty close to it and the Winning results will get him a new 2 or 3 year contract that he'll have earned.

If CDD is here next year and we have a really bad season again then he'll be gone no matter what and we'll probably get stuck with whatever up and coming coach will take the job the exact same way we got CDD.

I love my Vols so I hope we Win every game and at least 9 or 10 every year, get to the SECCG at least every 2 years and Win the SECC at least once every 5 years and a NC every 10 years but I know that's probably overexpecting like most on here do.

I'll always wish for my Vols to Win no matter who our coaches are because I bleed Tennessee Orange.

On the financial side of things...barak oDUMBa will be in office another 4 years so most businesspeople, like our big $$$ boosters, will see this as totally horrid for our ecomomy and for their upward costs for healthcare and shrinking profits so I do NOT expect our big boosters to donate the $$$ to get a big homerun hire like we all want for at least another 4 years or longer unfortunately.

It's already well known that most businesses will now look for ways to put most employees on a schedule of less than 30 hours per week to cut their healthcare costs and try to boost profits and evade the money penalties of the oDUMBa healthcare garbage.

With the economy staying mostly flat I don't expect to see Neyland being packed for every game for many years to come and that's just sad.

I now also have serious doubts that we'll get a new dorm building for our players so that will also continue to hurt our recruiting efforts unfortunately.

Sadly, I just don't see much basis for hope and change for our beloved Tennessee football program or for our great nation.

It is what it is and we'll all just have to deal with things they way they are.

May God bless our great Nation and our Tennessee Vols.

Hypothetical question: IF Dooley is retained and has an amazing season next year, what would be the reactions of all of you who hate him right now? I mean, I'm a Dooley supporter (for now) and I'm not even sure he'd be able to do it. But if he did, what would you do? I know it'd be a lot of pride to swallow...(Not meaning that in a jerky way; it's just the truth with all the current adamant dislike for him as TN's coach)

He's proving right now he can't get it done with the best talent he'll ever have on the hill. Guess you need a encore with even less talent? If he's allowed to stay everything positive he's done will start to erode. We'll be right back to square one.. Poll sucks..

If Dooley is still the HC a week after the UK game then I predict that the Mayan calender is true and we're all gonna die in Dec, so it won't matter anyway.

1...Try to read and actually understand my posts and you might accidentally learn something.

2...As I've stated many times I'm NOT a supporter of CDD...I'm a avid and loyal supporter of my Tennessee Vols and that includes all coaches and players that currently work for and wear Tennessee Orange.

3...I have zero respect for barak oDUMBa that's a proven Liar, does cover ups on the murder of 1 of our Border patrol agents and the murder of 4 of our Government workers in Libya, has put rules and laws in place that are destroying our coal industry, ect and are killing our economy...are totally destroying our military and even his own Sec of Defense says the cuts can NOT stand because our military will be decimated, added over 17 Million people on foodstamps, has lost the average American over $4,400. per year in income, is destroying our medical industry and has Doctors refusing to see any more Medicare patients, ect, ect, ect.

Please try to actually learn something and present some facts rather than to just call me delusional and ignorant my friend.

Keep your gumbie obama-voting political crap off the thread.

UPDATE:

We're up to 32 people who would rather we have a losing season than have Dooley prove them wrong:

21VOL, 92volalum, abacon81, bam025, Batman33, BoseefusTheVol, btrotter, champyvol, cool_vol, coors40light, diehardvolsfan, dthompson, fickalicious, Fijivol72, Harvey1, jarvol, KnoxVillain, lewis co vol, nikesportsfan, ReelfootVol, ShoalCreekVol, Shocker0, smokeyvols, TennesseeJet, VFL 24/7, VFL44, VolFanInArkansas, volmania8, vols-1, Volsfaninva917, volsfansince4387, wolfe

it goes without saying that these aren't actually real Tennessee fans. At best, they're bandwagon fans who most likely supported FSU in the 90's (until the 99 Fiesta bowl, when they suddenly became UT fans).

If Dooley is back next year regardless of this poll, we will struggle t win 5 games. However, if he doesn't get fired this year, I'll lose faith in them to ever do it.
