If the rumors on are true that Calhoun and Cutcliffe both turned down Tennessee...I don't even know what to say. Derrick Dooley? Who the **** is Derrick Dooley? Louisiana Tech? They just went 4-8 WTF

17-20 in his career there. Won a bowl game. Interesting direction. Isn't Tommy Bowden available?

He is a Nick Saban protege though. Don't like him as a hire, but he was with Saban at LSU and then at the Dolphins, where he left to go where he is now.

Derrick Dooley is a great coach. Is he the right guy for the UT job? I highly doubt it. This is getting interesting. I still cannot believe we havent shown more interest in Gary Patterson.

It's Dooley, Steele, or Cutcliffe imo. My wish is Stoops as the longshot. Rumblings every year that he would come back to SEC if right circumstance comes along. He knows the area especially in talent rich Florida where spent years.

Why? Tommy and Terry have already proven they can't do the job. It remains to be seen about Dooley, but he's preferable to a known failure.

Terry's Win-Loss at Auburn= 47-17-1
Tommy's Win-Loss at Clemson= 72-45
Dooley's Win-Loss at La. Tech= 17-20

Need I say more?

I was going to post the Bowden's records.

Both are good coaches but neither met the expectations of a Championship at both programs that think they should be in the Championship hunt yearly.
