Didn't he hire him specifically to make sure the offense/terminology wouldn't change?

Also if Butch goes, does our star freshman J. Guarantano go too? His father is friends with Butch.

Debord will probably be this years Jancek. Just blame him for the shortcomings. There will be no assistant coach to blame next year. The truth will come to the light.

So here we are, 8 years after one AD f***** us hard core and the replacement AD has done the same thing. Spectacular.

Tennessee is the Bad News Bears of college football.

Tennessee is supposed to be 1 of 3 teams to always battle for the East Division. They are supposed to get top players that compete on the highest level. Yet those who are in charge don't have the balls to make the hard call. LSU got rid of Miles mid season. MILES!!! Not Butch. A guy who has nothing to boast about other than..... I can't even finish that sentence. So why is it that this University can't get us a HOME RUN HIRE in football. This program is starting to resemble the Lady Vols hoops team. The last 8 quarters have been HORRIBLE. Time to heat up the HOT seat.

Indeed. Where is the money we will use?

UT has elite facilities and charge elite prices for all things involved with football, yet when it comes to hiring elite coaches it has fallen well short .The last great hire was when Johnny Majors was hired from Pittsburgh the same year he won the national championship! I have no faith in the administration to go out and get "the guy".

Don't be fooled to think there isn't money to get a better coach. Boosters are Boosters for a reason.

Exactly. There is plenty of money. And if you get a good enough coach, the revenue generated by the program will have easily made up for the cash.

Except all the big time head coaches doesn't seem very interested in us. I mean hell, Charlie f***n Strong was almost our HC before he turned us down at the last second. We all know how he turnt out at Texas. Tennessee isn't a very attractive job as it used to be for whatever reason.

And the track record tells us what here? Please do tell me. Some of you are living in a world that does not exist, in respect to the UT AD.

Debord is the biggest problem. I don't want to fire Butch unless we have a winner lined up. I've seen that movie 3 times at Tennessee. We need a QB Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and an Offensive Line coach. Clear house now on those unqualified coaches and bring in coaches that can develop players, have a game plan, and can actually play call.

Let Butch be the talking mouth and nothing more

When you have 3 crap hires in a row things don't seem real shinny and good around Tennessee.

Can't disagree there. No reason to give them the benefit of the doubt until they show something positive.

So silly. Butch is not going anywhere. He has at least two more years. Are you going to leave.

No. More interested in you explaining the money that will come from Pilot to hire a top tier coach. Go ahead.

You asked where the money would come from and I said Pilot. Haslams own Pilot. That where I'd say most of the football money comes from. I didn't say a word about hiring a new coach. Just answered a dumb question.

There are plenty of winners who'd take the job. In fact, there is a guy who's won 3 NCs available.

TN has the worse administration in the top half of the SEC. Boosters appear to be weak too.

He didn't turn us down. Hart balked at Strong asking for a half million more to get him here.
