I'm about to the point where I'm going to be starting "Start Nick Lamaison" threads.

lmfao :lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:

Like it or not, we're aboard the Cromptanic.

I think I am going to stick around and listen to the band.

Only nine more Saturdays of football. :cray:

Listen, Crompton didnt do vert well but ya'lls WRs dropped a lot of balls. So, wh isnt that QB that came in the first play the starting QB for the Vols?

I bet those receivers could take a snap from the center without fumbling the damn ball. At the same time they did miss a few catcher. I blame that on the receivers coach. But Crompton could have played a lot better. He's not a Division I SEC quarterback and never has been.

The true frosh that broke off the big run? He's a gamer, but has not worked with the QBs; he probably only knows about 20% of the playbook at this point.

BTW, that offense is nasty. Do me a favor and paddle Little Nicky's butt for us.

I REALLY wish we played you next year!

Are you mentally challenged? Crompton's bad, but our WR's are every bit to blame. If you've got a qb who doesn't have it, then you better have WRs that make plays.

Guess what... our this is not only the worst qb in TN history, but the worst group of WR's in school history as well.

WE SUCK. There's no getting around it. We're not going to a bowl because we don't have the talent on offense, and without Reviez on D, we're not all there on d.

ask Dr Lou what to do.

Bash me if you will, VolNation...but I agree. I'm done with wasting my money, and time, on UT football...so long as Jon Crompton is under center. At this point, we have nothing to lose, thanks to Crompton. So...plan, and play, for the future.

It is what it is.

Go Vols.

Got any tickets left?

PM me with games and prices if you are serious.

Got it. You guys get the chance before we do. I'll def be a Vol for the duration of that game.

i cant believe people call themselves fans if cant watch or root for the "team" they like just because our qb sucks. i know i'll watch every second of the game like a real fan!!!

I will watch and root for the vols if they have to go to div. 3, but as bad as the off. is there has to be a change. Kiffin has changed the line and that help nil, now it is time for Crompton to take a seat and let somebody else have a go. I dont care if they have to suit-up Monte, but do something!!!

I'm with you. I'll watch every second of every game even if we have no QB change and lose every game from here on out. No way in hell I don't support my team. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will not watch the game. The fans deserve a QB change. Kiffin is being stubborn beyond belief. I have never witnessed a QB play so bad and not get benched. I am speechless. We are literally forfeiting our season. At this point who cares if Crompton never gets his confidence back????? We need a change.

ok well have a nice saturday next week then

One would think he has never played QB.... and he already has no confidence so an exit of Crompdog is hopefully soon.

To all the people saying, "you're not a fan if you can't support our team", shut the hell up. Have you ever played sports? Have you ever played for a team with a coach too ignorant to pull an inadequate player....probably not, nor have I. On my teams, when someone sucked horribly they got benched, not coddled. I am a fan through and through, but enough is enough. Crompton sucks, and all those who want to have his back are idiots. Yes, he is "OUR QB", however, he is not a winner and if you support that then you look foolish.
Tennessee is what it is because of the fan base which supports the program so wholeheartedly. People in Tennessee don't cheer for Vanderbilt for a reason, BC THEY LOSE! Now we lose and most fans are extemely unhappy, with the exception of the Cromptonites, "HE IS OUR QB" who are idiots. How much hostility does it take from fans and poor performance on the field from a player to finally decide to put in the backup? For those JC on their knee'ers, the only thing achieved by playing him continually is his life made harder. Give the kid a break, sit him, make his life easier, as well as all of ours. Our player look like they have no heart.
When a leader can't be a leader, the inadequacies trickle down and therefore no one on o looks enthused to play(other than montario).
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH KIFFIN! Either Nick needs to play or we need to run the wildcat(which gained 27 or so yards on 1 attempt).

I know people are about to hate on me for that post, but I don't care. Bring on the BS reasons I'm not a real fan or I don't know how to stick by somebody in tough times. All garbage, and will not be paid one lick of attention. Ut is a great program, just hate to see it looked at like we are hasbeens which is all I hear living in Ga. Time to look half decent which will not happen with Crompton at the helm.

I agree. How can so called "fans" stand behind a QB who will cost us the game every week due to his poor play? This would never happen in the NFL. Oh wait that's why Kiffin is here. :neener2:

i'm not saying i'm against a qb change, but if you think nick stephens is capable of beating georgia or any other upper tier sec team for that matter.....then you need a serious reality check. he's on the bench for a reason.

I think it's a lot of things that are working against Kiffin at this point... mainly the last 4 years... if this were the first bad year, it would be one thing, but this is only the latest bad year...

this O is so completely unwatchable that people are going to stop going to games... I know it's not fair... the man responsible is sitting up in Thunder Thornton's skybox sipping on pina coladas....

imo Kiffin has to consider putting Nuke in the wildcat (or G Jones)... heck we have a decent number of playmakers on O... we're not going to win many, but he has to find a way to make it fun for the fans... who wants to spend a couple hundred bucks and a whole day to see this?

I agree. Im not watching. Kiffin wants to get confidence for Crompton at the expense of the rest of the team and fans.
IMHO, what it really boils down to, is this Crompton's last chance. If CLK pulls him for Stephens, CLK said it would be permanent. He doesn't want a QB controversy making matters worse. But my question is....how can it get worse when one of the best defenses in the country gets gassed early in the first half cause Crompton leaves them stranded on the field the whole half.

That's all on CLK. I bet him and his dad have some words this week.

I don't. Anyone who thinks that we're going to be significantly better next year is delusional. Do you know what we have coming back at QB? Nick the Pick or a 185 lb. 6'7" freshman QB. 2012 is our year.

The backup QB is always the most popular player on a losing football team. I guess you won't be watching the UGA game because Crompton is our QB no matter how bad you think he is. That's fine with me I know I'll be there rooting him on. I agree completely that Crompton is terrible college QB but honestly he's the best we've got. The coaches know what these kids are capable of doing (as little as that may be) because they see them every day in practice. Let's face it people UT currently lacks the talent to be a serious SEC contender. Just give CLK some time to get his players in place for his system and pretty soon we will really see how good of a coach he is. Obviously this team is in dire need of a good QB but that is just not an option we have right now. Crompton gives us the best chance to win which is why he is our starter and he will continue to be throughout this season. So suck it up, be a true fan, and cheer him on for UGA...

Go Vols!!!
