Who do you think he would really like to have or pursue the hardest based on his style of play?

Welcome to VN!! :hi:

Check out the recruiting forum and you will find lots of info and speculation on this very question.... Murray, Savage, Bridgford, Barkley, etc.

On the CSS interview, CLK said he had been contacted by QB's at other schools who said they were interested in transferring to UT.

Who fits this mold?

Initially I thought Mitch Mustain but I don't know how the rules work if you transfer twice. UT was in his top 3 if I remember.

Highly unlikely though.

Did Ryan Mallett ever transfer? I remembered hearing rumours of him transferring to Arky to play under Petrino but I really haven't followed Arky at all this year.

I remember the scouts talking about him as a strong, big armed QB with a frame the pros look for.

Yeah, Mallett is most likely going to be the starter at ARK next year. He considered TENN before choosing ARK.

No telling who it might be. Anyone who transfers will have to sit out 2009 anyway. You have to sit out a year if you transfer to another D-I school unless you get a hardship waiver like Tyler Smith or B. Warren.

He'd have to sit out another year, and he'd lose the year of eligibility since he's already redshirted his sit-out year to transfer to USC. If he wants to transfer without losing a year of eligibility, he'd have to transfer to an FCS school.

He's not that good, anyway, plus he's an arrogant jack@$$ who thinks a job should be handed to him. Not worth the trouble IMO.

That name is much too close to Mullet for him to ever take the field at UT. UF would be more fitting.
