If Chris Jones does not qualify...

What he's saying is that the chances are always 50/50. Mathematically there is no 70/30 (or any other percentage) when there are only 2 outcomes. Either he makes it in or he doesn't, thus the probability is 50/50.

You fail too. Why do they have percentages for chance of rain on the weather? There are only two outcomes...rain or not rain.

You've never done multiple regression im assuming.

I'm sorry 88, but multiple regression just isn't an accurate method given the original question. Probabilities involving reason and opinion require a little more leeway than what math can handle. ;)

If that's accurate, I'd say the chances of Jones playing his junior and senior seasons at Texas Tech or UTEP are much higher than the probability he ever suits up for Tennessee.

Hat can he transfer here next year or how does that work?

Do you think this is entirely a situation of Jones can't qualify or is this Forbes trying to get the last laugh at UT and set himself up with players to move with him to his next assistant gig (i.e. TT or UTEP)?

I just think BCG and Tim Floyd are at programs much better situated to load up with JUCO players and UT will not want to wait two years for an impact point guard. I think that is now a major priority in the class of 2012.

i agree with you when i played if you got a d you could not dress out ,and as one of the starters coach expected us to be smarter ,if we got a c we would have to sit out a quarter or a half of a game.i was a freshman at lmu when i got my first bad grade i missed a final because the week before we weren,t required to come to class if we didnt ,so i didnt, and by my horror the whole class voted to take exam a say early and i lived off campus and no one could contact me,i had a 3.8 gpa seventh in class.and a 30 on act and i never studid .but i know several people personally that faild 2 years and only got a b or above in phys ed .and one played at lee collage, another played at carson newman and one ran track at uga
