If Chaney isn't fired at the end of the season...

Chaney's probably not a bad coach, but he sux with the playcalling.

That is all.

Drunk Johnny just shut up!! Your ignorant in what your saying how many NFL players has he coached and how many have you coached?

Alright go be our offensive coordinator since you think you can do better please i would love to see it, and than we will criticize you for what you do wrong.

More stupidity.

Dispute the facts.

what he did at other schools really doesn't have any bearing on what he's doing at UT without context. Also with the personnel he had to start the season he would be stupid to try and run all game.

What about the personnel we had after the first quarter of game 3?

Is it really that difficult to have a competent running game? I mean, obviously for us it is.

Yep, fire the coach that called the plays that allowed Bray to break Mannings streak for most 300 yard games in a row.

Really smart thinking

yep I'm sure the gameplan never changed. Maybe we don't have the ability right now to have one and he is passing to mask that. Nah, we should just keep handing it off until they get it right

The FACTS are look at the personnel he has dealt wit, go look at my last post. Are you running from facts that don't support your theory?

The fact is Vandy is out-rushing us by 2x. The fact that you are trying to excuse this is pathetic at best. Give it up.

I appreciate the info LWS but I'm not impressed by these numbers. That's an average of 147 ypg which would rank 72nd nationally right now. Again, thanks for the info. I can always expect a level headed response from you and there's only a handful of posters that I'd say that about.

I'm not debating the production side. I'm trying to show that he will call running plays. as I said, if he has personnel he will call the plays. how well the players execute is a different argument.

I may have viewed the debate the wrong way.

how'd Vandy do against bama and LSU?

no one is excusing it but you really aren't looking deep enough if you just stare at numbers to reach a conclusion

Yea, too bad you can't dispute the facts in the OP.

If you don't have a top 3 ypg ranking you will not win the SEC, or the East for that matter.

Yes, yes they are.

The proof is in the numbers.

If you want to take issue with them, go right ahead. Show me the last time a team won this conference rushing for 100 yards a game.

I'll be here waiting.

we cant win the East this year anyway! Get a straw and suck it up! who cares how many yards vandy or anyone else has! as long as we win that is all that matters!!! We are now playing for a bowl game and last time i checked a win is a win whether its passing or running who gives a crap!!

This run game crap is getting idiotic... run or pass, does not matter.. what matters is scoring points, when we had bray and hunter we were doing just that and winning games.

You have to run to win is old school football and one of the things that got fulmer fired, all we heard about was how phil would only run the ball and defenses knew what we were doing every play etc.. etc..

you call the plays that you have the personnel to call... with our line up it is just not plausible to run it every down which has been proven in multiple games this season. But we did have a good throw and catch going on which is why while bray and hunter were in the game together we went, what? 6-1 till hunter went down vs Florida.

Spew your garbage somewhere else...

I think it's imperative to get the playmakers the ball. For Bama hand the ball to Trent Richardson or before him, Mark Ingram with the added bonus of using play action to hit Julio Jones.

For Auburn it was snap the ball to Cam Newton.

For Florida it was snap the ball to the fullback Tim Tebow and hand the ball off to Percy Harvin.

For Tennessee...D. Rogers has 41 receptions for 643 yards and 6 TDS. Poole has rushed the ball 134 times for 500 yds and 1 TD. Pretty clear.

As for Vandy, QB Rogers has rushed the ball 55 times and he's completed 49 passes. In other words, the playmakers for Vandy are in the run game with the pass to keep defenses honest.

Keep staring at box scores and we'll keep watching the games

Great retort. What have you seen in the games you've been watching that disproves anything I've posted in this thread?

Did you watch the Georgia game by chance?
