If Bray doesnt go for the draft does Worley transfer?

I think Peterman would need a legit shot at over taking Worley for a transfer. Justin could get two years with a redshirt at another school, but that's not always a guarantee either.

I finally get to agree with you. Bray would definitely have to win the job again for a new coach.

As for him entering the draft.... would any of you draft someone with a record like his of not coming through when important games are on the line?

If the other teams were scoring 40+ points? Yeah, probably.

He's not going anywhere. Also,Bray haters, get it together. He's not the problem and the fact he hasn't beaten anyone that's great has almost nothing to do with him. He has something to do with the loses but he's far from the reason we've lost. He's GROWING and if u can't see that you're living in the twilight zone. That said he needs to stay next year and if the defense can gel with or without a new HC we might beat some somebody worth beating.

Wonder if PEterman can back up next year and let Worley redshirt if Bray returns.

Unless he is needed for a lot of plays, could make sense.

Bray may be in tough spot. Stay where the coaches aren't effectively working with him. Or go pro knowing he's behind the 8 ball. I think he'll be remembered as the kid with a million dollar arm and 25 cent brain!

Two things:

Couldn't Worley redshirt this year if he hasn't played any?

I think Peterman will be the next QB anyway. JMO

Bray has had to carry an unfair load because our defense sux and we are always behind. Still, I'll be surprised if he leaves after this year-and I'll eat my hat if he gets drafted before the 5th round. His lack of mobility is a major negative--he gets a bit panicky when he's rushed precisely because he's not able to "extend plays"--which is a term we often hear analysts mention in reference to NFL quarterbacks these days. And Bray's mechanics are bad. NFL defensive backs are 10x better than college DBs. He will not get away with his backward-leaning slings. He's got a good arm, and he's accurate when he has time, and he looks good when he steps into a throw properly. I'm not sure if he reads defenses well either. He certainly seems a long way from, say, Luck and RGIII--the top 2 qbs last year. That said, I hope he throws for 400 against bama, which he may have to do for us to win.

Why would he? Worley isn't that great. Its not like he has teams dying to have him as a starter. Peterman may be better.

For what it's worth, Wes Rucker thinks Bray, Hunter, and CP are all gone after this year, no matter what. He even tweeted this today.

i have an extremely hard time believing that all three leave...wes rucker is a quack

I don't see the NFL taking bray high enough to make it worth his while. He has a great arm and puts the ball in good places, but he doesn't have all the other skills yet. If he learns the mental there he would be thde #1 pick next year. IF.

Brays stays or leaves depends on the Kentucky game
He really wants to redeem himself by beating Kentucky
What odds do you give him? Hope he makes if through the Ala and SC game healthy

Am I the only one not impressed with Bray here?

Seriously, drafted?!

I think Bray has an NFL arm. He would be drafted, but not until rounds 5-6 IMO. A team would take the chance on him thinking they can teach him how to check down a pass or make better decisions. The 6'6 and arm is something you can't teach. His off the field issues would also aid in sliding him down to the later rounds. You know they will also point out him losing just about every game that mattered here at UT.

No way Bray slips past the 2nd round. I don't care what he does the rest of the year, he'll be no worse than 5th or 6th QB taken and very likely better than that. He has all the measurables NFL GM's are looking for. Bray will go late 1st or early 2nd round, IMO.

And no, I don't think Worley will transfer.

Y'all are dumb if you hope for any of the three to leave early.

Bray and Hunter hadn't gotten this big game experience yet. Bray came on after the gauntlet his first year and both were hurt through it last year. They're learning how to play big games right now, a year later than they should. They are talent... big time talent. Wishing any of them, Bray in particular, to leave is very reminiscent of everyone being glad when Cromp was going to take over for Ainge.

Proven talent on board is >>> potential talent that's been ridin the bench.

This time last year, I was already concerned about Bray leaving early. But this year I,m pretty sure he's not ready and waiting will do big things for both his draft position. Big difference between salary and quarunteed money between mid round(this year) and eary round(next year, hopefully).

Bray is not going anywhere. I may be wrong which I am alot but i just dont see it. He has the tools but he is not mentally ready for the NFL..

If JH & CP go pro though, then I don't think if it helps him to stay(numbers wise).

I don't think CP will go, especially with his butterfingers problem he's had on WIDE FREAKIN' OPEN balls....Be better for him, and Hunter, to stay. IMHO, that would give them a better draft result next year.

Right now, I don't see any of these guys going in the first two days of the draft.... my :twocents:
