Too turn him loose or not too..... I am under the impression that some of Ainge's not so good Qtrs this year has be the result of poor play calling and not mixing it up enough.....I would like to see him get in total sync and stay there.....I hope He, Cut and CPF are on the same sheet tommorrow because I think it is a difference maker....We need a complete game from him....

What like four complete quarters? Or just four quarters without getting hurt?

Tony Barnhart was on 680 The Fan this morning here in ATL. He said to win Ainge better put up 5 TD's. He said that LSU easily hits 30 points per game and the Vols needed at least 35 points if they were to win.

I then noticed in the AJC he picked UT 21-20.

Wow it seems like all these guys talk out of both sides of their mouth.

I dont think we win easy! If he plays 4 complete quarter we win a very close game.

That was Gary Danielson.

he was also swinging from Tebow's sack and saying, "if CBS told him to, he would sit in the booth in Jacksonville from now until the game between UF and UGA next year,"

Mock the commentators for loving Tebow all you want. Just don't blame Tebow for it.

Did I? Nope, just pointed out that they asked him about the game and he immediately brought up Tebow, thus the reason for me pointing out that he was Tarzan on Tebows nut hairs...

Let's just hope he remembers to play after halftime. I'm thinking we just leave him on the sidelines tossing balls all half (where else can you say that and not get in trouble, lol) and keeping loose. He terrifies me in most 2nd halves this year. We need a complete game and bring home the SECC trophy Erik!!!!!!

If the team plays well in all 4 quarters I say we will win. Its starts with ainge but everyone else has to play all 4 quarters as well.. If the running games stalls or recivers start dropping passes it could be a long game.

I really think if he is on the team receivers and backs will be too..... Controlling the game and Ainge's ability seems to energize Tennessee on both Sides of the Ball...
The worst thing we can do is to have a bunch of three and outs... Which can be contributed in the past as dropped balls and play calling... keep the defense off the field I am sure we will have some special Schemes for their formations...

What we know is that CPF will screw us up after halftime if were winning.

Won't be a problem tomorrow.....I think the plan is to get our ass reamed from the start....thereby nullifying any coaching disadvantage we might have.

Tennessee 10
LSU 34

It's back to reality fellas.....

Really? We "know" that?

How exactly did CPF screw Ainge up and cause him to throw that pick into coverage last Sat? How did CPF screw up and cause L Taylor to drop an easy 4th down conversion that would probably have sealed a double digit, no OT win for the Vols? Did Ainge overthrow Brown and Foster on plays that could have effectively ended UK's comeback? Did CPF drop an easy pick?

I'm not blaming the kids. This is all part of the game... but CPF's game coaching didn't "screw us up" against UK. UT just had some tough breaks go against them that let UK back into it.

All in all, that was probably the best called game UT has had on both sides of the ball all year IMO.

I second, best coached game of year by UT staff explains lack of game plan in Vandy game. They took two weeks writing the KY script.

Barnhart is a moron. He is wrong more times than Corso. LSU has been an over hyped team all year. They hang their hat on a blowout of a weak Va Tech team. I say if we show up and dont turn the ball over we win going away.

I still have bad memories of the underhanded "buffet toss" last time we played LSU :scare:

We have to play 4 good quarters of defense also. Give the defense rest and make good tackles (no missed tackles). I think the defense is headed in the right direction but they have to play the best game of the season tomorrow. Raise it up a notch!

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here's to a good game tomorrow. as an LSU fan i'm wondering how the Tigers react to all of the turmoil regarding coaching changes, and personnel changes.

a younger team would be in trouble but i'm thinking Hester, Dorsey, Steltz, Highsmith and the other seniors hold it together.

I figure the playbook will be narrrowed down and RP will run the option more than usual. Miles will try to control the clock and keep our injured D off the field as much as possible.

34-26 LSU in a close, hardfought game as Hester scores twice on 4th down to seal it for the Tigers.

The sad thing is... About 10 seconds before the pick that ended the world, I sent my brother a text message reading "Ainge better not choke." That combined with the CBS announcers sealed our fate.
