Shy is still not 100%, Alexis is not reinstated, and we know Butch never lets freshmen start at the beginning of the year. By December when we play for the SEC title, I hope this is the depth chart:

QB - Dobbs/Dormady/Guarantano
RB - Hurd/Kamara/Kelly

WR1 - P. Williams/Jennings/B. Johnson
WR2 - Malone/George/Callaway
Slot - J. Smith/Byrd/L. Williams
TE - Wolf/Croom

LT - Richmond/Kendricks
LG - Robertson/Boulware
C - Thomas/Jones
RG - Wiesman/Jones
RT - Hall/Kendricks

DE - Barnett/Phillips/Mixon
DT - Tuttle/Kongbo/A. Johnson
DT - McKenzie/Vickers/O'Brien
DE - Vereen/D. Taylor/A. Smith

WLB - Reeves-Maybin/Sapp/McDowell
MLB - Kirkland Jr./Jumper/Bryant
SLB - Bituli/Bynum/Bates

CB - Sutton/Buchanan/Henderson
CB - Martin/Moseley/Osborne
Nickel - Gaulden/Foreman
Dime - Foreman/Abernathy
FS - Warrior/Abernathy/Griffin
SS - Kelly Jr./Berry

Amazing how LOADED our roster is.

With #1 playing multiple positions it makes an OL's job more difficult.

Agreed. That's I don't think they will put him at DT and leave him. If you can play both positions, it will create mass confusion with him moving around so much

No Jumper in the depth chart please.

I know. That was the only name I had to cringe at while typing in.

Maybe they have Bitulu working at the backup MLB position and he'll pass up Jumper by December.

I personally think Bitulu with his size and physicality would be perfect at the SAM position. I don't trust Kenny Bynum to play at a high level.

Hopefully not the same kind of confusion created by dropping Barnett into coverage last year on some passing downs. I'm still confused about it.

Just imagine if all our stud junior players returned for their senior year...Hurd, Kamara, Kelly, Barnett, Wolf, Malone, Berry, etc. One could only hope lol. Some could but don't see all that I mentioned. Love our roster for Team 120. Get your popcorn ready because 2016 is gonna be a dandy!

LOL. Our d-line is so loaded, I forgot about LaTroy Lewis.

He'll obviously be in the D-Line rotation.

DE - Barnett/Phillips/Lewis/Mixon
DT - Tuttle/Kongbo/A. Johnson/Picou
DT - McKenzie/Vickers/O'Brien
DE - Vereen/D. Taylor/A. Smith

That's 14 bodies that could see playing time in any given game.

I wouldn't be surprised if our d-line dominates this year like Alabama's did last year.

Kongbo will end up at Quarterback, just like Shy/KMac/Vereen/Barnett.

Kongbo 35 yd TD pass to TE Hurd to beat Bama...book it. :)

Seriously, I think Kongbo will play a lot of DT and that's not a bad thing imo..

Well, to be fair, that happens alot. The problem with it is that JJ didn't have his players in position alot of times and called thsee types calls in the worst times of a game. It has been noted by several close to Shoop that it may be his best attribute that his players never play out of position. They make you work for what you get so if you make a play, hats off to you. Now let's go do it again

I love our front 7. Little worried though with the experience and depth behind JRM & Kirkland.

Agree on the backup to Kirkland. Unless someone like Bituli emerges, we have little depth there.

But I disagree on depth behind JRM.

I don't know how much practice footage you've watched but Quarte Sapp looks like an absolute stud. Not trying to say JRM is easily replaceable, but we're alot better at the backup weakside linebacker postion than the backup middle linebacker.

I know it seems like the cupboard is bare behind Kirkland, but I believe this kid is just that much better than anybody else...in another world.

Bituli has promise and I'm disappointed G Bryant hasn't made his presence known in this competition, but again, I think Kirkland is Al Wilson like...

Lewis will prob be 2nd string D-end with Kongbo. I think he is ahead of Darrell Taylor at this point.

I don't think he ends up there. He will rotate alot. And it also depends on injuries. If we get thin or more thin that we are, he could be asked to play there more often than not

End up where and be asked to play where?
