I second this.

I all but got made fun of in another thread earlier in the week for bringing this up. Somebody even suggested I had nothing to worry about with UCLA and I should "bet the house and my first born" on this game. I was also told this is a warm up for the Florida game.

All the Florida threads this past week were tempting fate, and it caught up with us.

One a postive note, while there was 10 threads about us beating the gators and Tebow next week we lost to a non-conference Pac 10 team with a freshman QB on the road for the first time.

I don't know....I didn't mind the UF posts, and don't in retrospect. I can certainly understand being a bit miffed that folks laughed off concerns about UCLA (I had my own, and that was if we had to play from behind that we would lose....and turnovers were the only way I saw that happening). But, the SEC is our football season, and UF is the reigning king, so I don't mind the posts. I hope we can make it an enjoyable game to watch...

Mostly what I minded was that all the turd gator fans that have been trolling this site the past week would turn out to be right about calling us crazy for even insinuating we could keep it close, much less win against them.

I bet you would be hard pressed to find posters on here right now that say we come within 14 points of the gators next week.

I guess it is just a little irritating to me because I live in Alabama where impossible expectations are the norm for Bama fans and I saw a lot of that on here last week. I like to think we are smarter than the average bammer.

Well if We were the ones playing the game then I would've only thought about UCLA but since I am only a fan, I feel I am allowed to look ahead since me looking ahead doesn't affect this team what so ever...But hey thanks for the concern! :salute:
