Got to meet casey clausen after the vol walk while waiting on the band to come down. Great guy and the last real QB we had. 19-1 on the road. 2 wins in the swamp. beat bama 3 times. he was mobile too. not pretty when he ran but he would. bray is afraid to run thinks he has to throw it.

Was he seriously 19-1 on the road? Dear lord that's amazing.

He'd have been 15-0 (14-1 on the road) if it weren't for an Auburn CB jumping a route on what was shaping up to be another game winning drive orchestrated by him.

Last I heard he was selling insurance and working as a high school football coach back in California.

His brother, Rick, played at UT too. He wasn't as athletic as Casey though. Did those guys marry?

CC is the most underrated qb in Tennessee history.

He played with toughness and pure grit, Bray could learn a thing or two from the Ice Man.

I remember being in Neyland when CC was a freshman starting against Alabama. Their D ripped his helmet off, and he was like, "Oh, Hell NO!"...then proceeded to whip the Tide. The Good Ole Days!
