if he went back to our offense before LSU. More spread formations and passing. That's exactly what Worley did in high school.

Hopefully if he's in the shotgun, that'll give him a bit more time to make some reads. However, I'm sure Clowney and Ingram are going to pin their ears back to come after Worley. Worley is going to have to make reads and get rid of the ball really quickly before that DLine of USC gets to him.

Does this mean that Stone can go back to center and snap left handed all the time since we will be in the shotgun all the time?

I'd say this was pretty much where the season was heading, with Bray post-injury. Just staggered some of the changes from game to game as the meat grinder that was October slowed down.

If I'm Chaney, I'd ask Worley to do the same things I was trying to get Simms to do. If he can hit open guys, we'll move the ball. We're starting to gel as an offensive line; now wouldn't be the time to change everything up.

I agree with this. I would rather our run game continue to show improvements like it has been, than to ask my very green QB to be the focal point next week.

No way they're going to ask him to throw the ball 45-50 times a game. If they do it will look like a clown show and go ahead fire Chaney now. It's going to be simple safe plays for a freshman. They'll spoon feed him the offense. It's not going to look like it did early in the year, get that thought out of your head.

You guys are going to be surprised at the lack of zip on worleys arm. That being said, if he's able to throw it early or on time at worst, he'll be ok.

I am pretty sure his arm will be adequate for the 5 to 10 passes he'll be making.

There might be more of that, but no way does Chaney ask a freshman with one good WR, an awful #2, and two freshmen WR to spread it out.
