I would say that we are witnessing the end of an era in Denver

but I could be wrong. However, at some point you have to come to the realization that physically you just can't keep up any longer.

Really sad,it's very hard watching PM play like this remembering all the great memories of him with UT,the Colts and the Broncos.:cray:

He could come back next year and still throw for 3500+ yards. Would be enough to give him the all time yardage record.

Competitors compete without really understanding that they may not be able to go at the same level as in their prime until they are well past it. It's just the way they are wired and it has nothing to do with pride. It has everything to do with the love of competing and continually putting yourself out there. He will play until his body simply won't go at all at that level anymore and he's not there yet.

It's been really tough to watch the past 6 weeks. My favorite player ever. #GOAT

During those last 3 weeks or so I kept thinking 'he must be injured'. But whether it's decreasing skill level or increasing injuries father time is showing.

His retirement has to come sometime and unless he's convinced the team he's w/ can compete for the Super Bowl I'd like for it to be now. However he's one of the smartest ballers I've ever seen. I won't second guess whatever decision he makes.

And Mark Sanchez has a better playoff winning %. Doesn't really mean squat.

It means that Denver won a playoff game with a dead arm at QB, just one season prior to Peyton's arrival. It means that there's a decent chance they survive after Manning is gone. There's a lot of talent on this team outside of Manning.

Peyton needs to play one more year. He needs to make it known that next season will be his last, no matter the outcome. Jmo

C'mon man... The year Tebow was there they backed in at 8-8 and won in OT of one play that was busted coverage.

There will be significant drop off without Manning.

I agree. Draw a hard line for yourself and stick to it, lest you end up like Favre, a sad shadow of yourself chasing your former glory, becoming a pathetic figure in the process.

8-5 with Tebow. I really think this team is equivalent to KC or SD without Manning. Von, Chris Harris, Clady, Talib, Demaryius, Julius, Ward, Vasquez, etc..
