I would rather him stick to this quote and bring back the RIGHT COACH instead of bringing back Cutcliffe.

Nothing against Cutcliffe.. but I think Tennessee needs a different direction. If not, we need a new Athletic Director.

He took that approach with the Kiffin hire, and that turned out great didn't it. No confidence in Hamilton making the right hire no matter if he rushes or waits. Hamilton making the hire is similar to dropping coins in a slot machine. If it hits, it will be all luck.

I dont really agree with that. I know that Kiffin split in a hurry and Hamilton is in damage control mode but we are talking about a HUGE coaching position and a boat load of money. It needs to be the right fit.

Hiring Kiffin might be the nail in the coffin for him. He gambled with him. Kiffin is a joke with no solid experience. There was a lot of "promise" with bringing his dad with him and the hope of a complete package.

We need a great mind in a coach.

When Hamilton hired Kiffin, he was in a HR position. In this position, the number one thing you must be able to decipher is potential success for your company. Kiffin had character issues which should have been caught by the "HR" person, Hamilton, during the interview stages. He either missed them or took a chance on the risk/reward knowing there were character issues.

Hammy made a poor decision which had a major, negative effect on the cash cow of the business. There is no reason to believe he can determine the "good fit" based on his past.
