I Would Like To Thank All The Aggies!

I agree with the targeting call on Warrior. Ref have been consistant, when there is a launch and a head hits a head they call targeting. Doesn't matter that their shoulders also hit. Warrior knows the rule and I feel sorry for him. But it wasn't necessary to blow the ATM player up. A lower hit would have done the job. But it's harder to decleat someone who that way. It was a look at me play.
In my opinion targeting should have been called on the Berry hit. This looks like targeting when I read the rule. The old spearing rule even fits.
Agree with call on Warrior. Pissed that they missed call on Berry. No mention of possible targeting call by verne or danielson (not surprising). Horrible call on Bates pushing A&M player out of bounds. One of the worst officiated games i have witnessed.

I second your sentiments. Our experience at A&M was fantastic. We had of been asked 5o times if we were having a good time, and if everyone was treating us well. They truly care how they treat the opposing team. One fan said "We are not LSU."

There is a tremendous amount of history and tradition on campus. We had a tour from a friend that is an Aggie grad. If you get a chance you need to go. We will all go to Knoxville in 2023, or when ever it is.

I hear that is not the case for Texas University.

So true. I've never seen worse fans inside Neyland stadium and you couldn't pay me to see us play them at Death Valley.

Hi folks! An Aggie stopping by, it looks like I can't start a new thread so I was looking for some place to post this.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the Vols who traveled. I was really surprised by how many showed up, and even more surprised when I arrived at my seats on Saturday and I found myself surrounded by about 50% Tennessee fans.

I was a little nervous about that, having had plenty of frustrating, annoying, or downright aggravating experiences with blocks of visiting fans in the past. But to my pleasant surprise the Vols fans around us were nothing but class. There was plenty of cheering, plenty of singing Rocky Top, but everyone around us was friendly and a good sport. Through all the ups and downs of this nutty game, the guys around us were genuinely fun to watch the game with.

My family has had season tickets for 10+ years. On the way out, my Dad and I agreed, we'd happily welcome that Volunteer crowd back for every game. Honestly, y'all were the nicest bunch of visiting fans we've run across.

Good luck next week against Alabama. I'm pretty sure if you guys hadn't self-destructed you would have beaten us soundly, and I'm hoping you guys have a clean game next week and a big win over the Tide!
