Some of our Seniors said that Saturday was the loudest that they have ever heard Neyland stadium. Think about that. They are seniors and we haven't done our job to energize that stadium like this in 4 years.

If you look at Rajon's post game interview, his eyes lit up and he got a huge smile on his face when he commented on the energy that our fans brought to the game and the effect it had on the team. Go back and watch it.

We moan and complain about everything. We question the coaches decisions(You know who you are) but do you ever really sit there and ask yourself: Did I as a fan give my all for Tennessee in that stadium, on that day? I was in that stadium with 102,455 this Saturday and witnessed how our boys fed off of it. It made me proud. We ask so much from our players...I think it is about time that we as fans do our part on every snap of every game just like Saturday!!

There was one moment where it was deafening. I haven't heard the stadium that loud in 6-7 years.

Well said. I agree in that I think the team loved the vibe and energy inside the stadium. Let's bring the noise again against the Gamechickens in a couple of weeks.

Go Vols

On the Butch Jones Show, Coach Bajakian said that there were times when he was on the phone, up in the coaches' booth, trying to communicate with Justin Worley. Coach Bajakian said that he was yelling at the top of his voice and Justin could not hear a word he was saying over the roar of crowd noise. Finally, they had to get Justin headphones just so they could communicate effectively.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, BIG ORANGE NATION!!!

There was a point in the first quarter where you could've heard a pin drop. The GA fans were WAY louder in the first.

3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.
7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

Every person who considers themselves a VFL should remember these two maxims from the General. Even if you aren't on the field, you have a job to do. Show up and make some noise against every opponent!

That's the first time in a very long time that I heard the crowd that loud. The last time I remember Neyland being that loud was 04 when we played the gators with 2 freshman QB. It really brought back memories of what it was like being in a tight game against a quality sec team. I really do hope this started something good. GO VOLS!

It's just a shame that UT schedules a big game for the fall break weekend, I personally wouldn't miss the game for anything, but this is the first truly extended break of the year, it will hurt student numbers without a doubt.

I was literally sitting at times in the 4th quarter because I thought I was going to pass out from cheering so much. It was worth it.

If it is the same moment as I keep reflecting on. The crowd was already loud beyond belief. Then on the jumbotron the video of the guy saying its time to get loud came on , and at that moment it just erupted and you could feel the stadium vibrating. It was one of the loudest moments I can remember in my 20 plus years of going to neyland.

Thank you so much for bringing this to everyone's attention! When I go to the games it pisses me off to see my whole section sitting on their a$$ playing a crossword puzzle or fumbling with their phone, especially on 3rd down! And then have the nerve to ask me to sit down! I just want to punch some people in the throat, this isn't a freaking baseball game. We're not chilling at the ball park eating hotdogs and peanuts people. THIS IS COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND IF YOU CAN'T CHEER FOR YOUR TEAM STAY AT HOME! :finger3::finger3::finger3:

That was it. It was already loud but we got another level somehow. I guess the blue hairs and faculty came alive their for a moment.

The crowd responds to good football. If its a close game, I think it will be just as loud vs USC.

That was the loudest I've heard the stadium probably since LSU in '06. Talk about another deflating game...

Yea last week at the USA game I was finally told (after 15 years of attending games in neyland stadium) to sit down. I've heard this through out the years happen to other people but never to me. Well I went crazy an told them all that was asking me to sit down to if they wanted me to sit down make sit down if they could I had no takers but the point is I'm a season ticket holder an I know for a fact they were not they were giving tickets it makes so mad that most older people around me just want to sit an eat cucumber sandwiches an clap an say bravo bravo

I was at the USA game too. I think that the crowd started coming back on USA's last drive when we intercepted them. That place was rocking for the 32k people who were still there!

Thanks!

I once tried to give my all but security asked me to sit down where the people behind me could see.
