Gotta say, this always bugs me. You stand up to cheer for your team. They can tell the difference on the field. Do you guys think A&M has so many fans complaining about people standing in front of them or their various medial ailments? I don't think so. It's a football game....sorry folks....stand up already.

Since when do fans have to sit down at a UT game? How about the fans stand up and make some noise!!! If you cannot stand up, then you should stay home and watch the game on TV! I am in my 40's and I want to stand and cheer. I am not a drunkard, just a fan that enjoys the experience!

I don't think some of the more selfish "vol fans" realize the true spirit of the game. I have been a fan for much longer than most and it is my right to watch the game in peace.

For this game I say let the drunkards stand up and yell all they want to. Although i do feel bad for those people who cannot stand up for whatever reason, but if you are able to stand, then I say STAND UP AND YELL!!!!! And if you can't stand, then set and yell!

Its quite simple actually, over here. We have the quieter "Alumni side" which is usually in the shade. Its been discussed ad nausea about how they have been less active over the years. It gets complained about very little though. They're Old Army and they've earned the right to sit, stand, yell, ect... Surprisingly, they were very active last Saturday.

As for the rest of the the Kyle Field faithful, you'll be reminded to stand if your butt hits the bench prior to halftime. Its expected. You'll also need to "uncover" during the yells. That's the item of controversy that gets the most attention.

Btw, lets clear this up too. Ive seen a lot of "12th Man" references lately. You've got 100k plus. That's your signature Vol Fans. There's no need to attempt to label yourselves something you're not. Just wear Orange, be loud, and give the Ducks hell. You've got a fan in Aggieland that'll be tuned in.
