I was relieved to see how our offense looked against Syracuse

Prior to watching our offense against Syracuse last Saturday, I (like most of you) was beginning to think our offense left with Alex Golesh and we'd never see the explosiveness we saw in 2022 again. Thankfully, we were wrong. The tempo is back. The creativity is back. Where the heck have designed QB runs and pass plays to RBs been? It was so nice to see all those things again and it was especially nice to see a QB who looked comfortable and poised running the system. The best part? We're still completely under the radar even though we've quietly upgraded most of the positions we needed to upgrade to take the next step and realistically compete for a SEC championship and make a playoff run. The Georgia game next week is looking more and more interesting. Go Vols! This is going to be a fun season, boys

I know Heupel has Georgia circled. From what I saw against ‘Cuse we were very vanilla, as we will be this week. Execution of what was available was really good.

I expect the kitchen sink against Georgia.

They did not have those holding and false start penalties that put them in 3rd and long situations. Enjoyed seeing that. Well disciplined line and good QB management.
I was glad to see that too. Our o line under Heupel has been notoriously bad when it comes to penalties. I just want to see Aguilar get those high passes down. Kept seeing people say it got better as the game went on. No it didn't. He was still throwing high in the 3rd quarter when I turned the game off for my 2nd watch. This was a known issue before he got here too though. Announcers think it's his footwork, but on a few I seen, it looks like it could be in his grip on the ball or release.

Either way, dude is a baller, but if he can't get his accuracy fixed, it'll cost us those close games.

If the OL and RB pass pro holds up against UGA, then it will be a ballgame.

Kirby loves disguised and delayed blitz packages. He will challenge the pass pro a lot like he usually does.
They had zero sacks against Marshall. We will see how good they are. Marshall attempted 21 passes.

You have to remember that we played Syracuse, and they are a bad team. So we're not that good. Georgia on the other hand played Marshall, and Marshall is a powerhouse,. Georgia beat them easily. Don't get me started on Florida, and how they beat Long Island........Long Island!

Long Island is the real deal. Don’t be hating on the…the…what in the world is their mascot?

I found it! Don’t be hating on the Sharks!

I actually love that mascot. Maybe I’ll become a fin, I mean fan. Damn, I’ve been reading too many McDad posts.

It should be the case as this is, arguably, the biggest game on our schedule (Alabama, Oklahoma, and Florida are all big as well).

If we win this game, it would be HUGE for the program. It almost has the feel of 1998 Florida (not sure if we are a National Title contender but I am thinking more on the line of it is an opportunity to get a program defining win).
