Seriously....Unless we can pull Gruden in here this would be the best option. I don't want to start over folks. Is there another coach that can come in here and win right away....I think not.

If you want another year with Dooley then be my guest. I'd rather drink battery acid.

You ever think what this team will be like once all the offensive players leave early for the NFL and we're stuck with this sh*tstain defense? We'll be getting beat 50-0 every week. No thanks.

Burn the thing down and start over. We can't be any worse on defense. No damn way. Sunseri looks clueless along with Dooley. This is the worst defense I've seen UT have in decades.

i dont want another coaching change either..however brady hoke for michigan worked immediately...dooley is not a coach...we lost to ky with a 3rd string wr as qb last year...not acceptable.. we have nfl talent..we dont play them right..its embarrassing..new coach..now! btw..we havent lost to miss st for a long time..

New coach next year has a lot of tools to work with. And if its a good coach, will FOR SURE do better than what we've got.

How much worse can starting over really really be? We're about to start 0-5 in the SEC for the 3rd straight year.

I see the OP's point, though. I'm not crazy about the idea of someone's offensive or defensive coordinator coming in looking to right the ship. If we can't make a "big splash" hire like Gruden or Stoops, or maybe pull someone like Charlie Strong, then is it going to be worth it to bring in a coordinator and hope he has what it takes?

What does 1 year do? The buyout is astronomical next year too. The $1mil we save in buyout next year is lost in lack of ticket/game revenue between now and then. Cut losses and pick up the pieces ASAP.
