Chavis is still running the preven D down at LSU. We all saw what he was able to do with it when he had the best talent possible. LSU is making it work simply because he has the BEST D (athletes) POSSIBLE. In years where he doesn't have those athletes, they can't win the big game ... see last year's LSU squad and the countless other UT defenses he failed to coach to potential while he was here.:birgits_giggle:

Umm really? Wilcox has done a helluva job with the tools he has. Take away the big plays due to mental breakdowns and our D is pretty stout.

The only thing i hated about losing the old regime, was losing John Chavis. I still thought he was one of the best D cooridinators in the game.
