Like I said, I know it's not suppose to be here, but figured people would like to know about this and we can send our support to Eric. They aren't sure if he will make a full recovery yet.\

Yeah, one of the worst parts about it is that the tackle seemed relatively routine and wasn't particularly violent (not nearly as hard as countless other tackles I have seen); it was just a terribly unlucky hit that landed just so as to inflict such a sad injury.

Probably a repost but there is now a Believe Fund established.

The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the establishment of the “Eric LeGrand Believe Fund” to support Eric LeGrand and his family. LeGrand, a junior defensive tackle for the Scarlet Knights, suffered a spinal cord injury Oct. 16 vs. Army.
