Georgia lost a lot, and we have gained a lot. Now, don’t get me wrong, but Georgia is going to be good in areas, but weak in others. If we can pull Florida, then we have the greatest chance to beat Georgia at home, and go 5-0.

Why do you guys set yourselves up to be disappointed. We have a long way to go talent wise before talking about 4-0. Thinking like this will only drive you crazy we are not there yet guys.

What is it you feel that we've "gained" that prior to now, puts us in a better position to beat Georgia in 2019?

I would be interested to know that too.

We were woefully inadequate in 2018. So, in 2019 I'd expect some experience & improvement in these position groups ... RB, QB, WR, TE, LB, & DB. It's hard to see a path to improvement and maybe a digression at DL & OL. Have no prediction @ ST. I do see some "2nd year" improvement from S&C, staff, and "team" that should hit every position IF we've got the right leadership.

UGA otoh has some losses and a lot of new talent maturing up. Don't see a dropoff for them. Other than this being a road game, I'm not seeing a lot of possibilities here.

Oh, I agree with you. I guess I was alluding to how far we have fallen, and the corresponding disappointment. No negatives intended.

Winning 4 games in the 1st half of the season would be reason for celebration...Still not sold on this staff yet so I am taking the wait and see, show me but don't tell me approach.

I believe 3 or 4. Their roster this year was absolutely ridiculous. Think they had like 10 or 11 5th year seniors on it. They were given something like 30 or 40 scholarships in 1 season.

By reading most of the posts here over the past months, I thought the general consensus was the O Line play & JG not making super plays would cost us games
Don't remember anyone mentioning Chaney causing us games
Yes, I was one of many who guessed wrong on who the next OC would be. No one mentioned Chaney until his name was leaked out. We all got the hire wrong

Florida has a better roster than us & Mullen will coach them up so that their weak roster will be overcome
