I think we need to relax until Sunday afternoon

Can we say right now that Currie is the source of the misinformation? I really don't know one way or the other.

I do know that the Schiano fiasco and possibly Doeren leaks could end up getting someone sued for slander or deformation or some sort of crime involving social media harassment.

The media may want to tread lightly from here on out.
The only reason I could see to misinform is if he plans to try and sneak another crap hire past us like he did Sunday.

The problem for UT admin is if they wait until after Saturday and FAU and Kiffin wins its ninth straight (the betting odds say this is highly possible), then the ferocious clamor for Kiffin will only increase and admin will not enjoy the sounds of us peasants wanting a winner.

I know it seems far away and impossible but by next October we'll have hired a solid coach with his set staff, things will settle down, and we'll all look back at this time and laugh and laugh and laugh....................

At this point, whatever coach rumor that comes up between now and Sunday can be disregarded. Take a break. Have a beer. Spend time with your families. Ignore the rumors on social media and on VN. Don't send out curses to Peyton or Haslem or Currie.

Judgement Day most likely will be Sunday. Act accordingly at that point...

In the meantime, I'm going back to the Political Forum. You people are nuts.

Right like something goin to happen sunday..Did you get that info from Political Forum, or is that a rumor your starting.:thud:

Yes indeed! Schiano will be paid...not sure how much but he will be paid. The man decided he wanted to become a HC at TN and he got branded in the same way Little Marco did by Trump. $$$

I hate to admit this but after the disaster of a season this coaching odyssey/debacle has been terrific entertainment.

Currie, Bev - the Haslams, Gruden, Schiano, Gundy......

Manning feuding with Martin,

Fans coveting the return of POS Kiffin,

Cutcliffe declining to enter the sweepstakes,

Currie in the Bahamas with no real search ever initiated,

Fans micro-analyzing/brutalizing every coach mentioned and/or offered.

Fired SEC coaches running from an interview with AD.

All this action is since last Sunday. What will December bring?

The pathetic season we were just required to endure pales in comparison to what we are witnessing with this coaching search. The incompetence level is astonishing and revolting and if this were to take place in any other private sector corporation all would be terminated immediately. This goes to the heart of the matter and you just cant fix stupid you must cut it out of your system root and branch. Now we will never be relevant again until we understand the importance of this issue. Hire an interim coach for one year use this time to replace the cancer within our administration right the ship then make a competent decision on a coach that has Tennessee best welfare in mind and start rebuilding the greatest football program on earth. MAKE TENNESSEE FOOTBALL GREAT AGAIN. Sound familiar?
