If we go out there and everything clicks just right I think it could be a good close game..Im just like anybody else I want us to win more than anything but in all reality they are prolly going to beat us. but who knows crazier things happen in football every week...GBO!!!:rock2:

I think we beat Georgia too but hey I picked us to beat Florida. Looked to me like we had a 2 quarter hang over against Akron until we finally picked it up. And people can say what they want about Tyler bray but right now he is third in the NCAA in passing and tied for first in tds with only 3 picks and 6th in qb ranking so hey who knows. I pretty sure them dawgs were tied with fiu here a few weeks ago at half so us having no shot is pathetic.

If UT pulls the upset, I'll be partying all night long in Athens, even after the clubs close down---we'll take our party to our hotel at the Holiday Inn Express down the street!!!

Im telling you we do have a chance v georgia....they struggled stopping the passing attack of.....guess who?.....................Buffalo...yes buffalo my friends. Week one they struggled like hell, sure they beat them by 20 but im guessing our passing attack is just a little bit better :).....
Not to menion georgia can be run on.....we just cant run. So we may be looking at 42 passing attempts from TB......final score. Tenn 27 Geo 24

You never know how good a team is until the season started. Last year lsu and bama were the clear 1 and 2 above everyone else. It wasn't until week 4 that it was evident. This year bama is strong and lsu is weaker. uga is up so are uf , and us. I feel really good about our chance at uga. and i predict a WIN!! We should have beat uf who will probably beat uga and lsu. that's what i base it on.

Sometimes it's human nature to want something bad enough that you ignore evidence to the contrary. As much as I want UT to win Saturday at Georgia, I can't overlook the evidence that we're an average team at best.

  • Offensively UT is explosive at times only to be wildly inconsistent at others.
  • The running game (incl the Wildcat) has still not shown signs of being effective enough to take the pressure off the passing game.
  • Defensively UT is a mess. There are consistently blown coverages and struggles with missed assignments.
  • Depth is a serious concern just about everywhere.
  • Place kicking despite last week's performance is still a ?
  • Coaching also a question mark.
My heart says 'hey, we could win' but my mind says 'slim chance.'

This is college football. The unexpected happens every week during the season. I never count the VOLS out and frankly I think Ga is the most over rated team in the country right now. We may not win another game between now and 10/20/12 but I will have hope going into that game. The talent TN has will start clicking at some point the question is just, when? It may very well be this Saturday. Let's go VOLS!!!

I agree. UGA is untested. We have played two okay teams and a really good team. We're ready no matter what anybody says.
