Going to be a really good to great player for the Vols! I wish he had a little more of Chuckie Garner's (Great RB) wiggle! Hard to compare him to any past Vols, reminds me a bit of TJ Yeldon from Bummer a few years ago!

Mizzou just scored on the commies to cut it to 13-10!! Wazoo!

Agreed. He's an exciting playmaker with all the tools to be the best in the conference as long as he gets the touches. Rushing or receiving, you know it's only a matter of time before he breaks a big one as long as you keep putting the ball in his hands.

He's good but not special like our recent RBs. Kamara and Kelly are NFL superstars. Chandler will most likely not be on that level.

Ty Chandler reminds you of Yeldon? Yeldon was like 6’3 and a power runner lol.

I’d say Chandler reminds me of a slightly faster Alvin Kamara without the shedding tackles ability/vision

Yeldon is listed at 6'1 but much closer to 6 ft. He was NEVER a power back at bummer.
Kamara is doing things no back has ever done in the history of the game as a backup, Chandler looks nothing like Kamara.

He'll have a big year next season vs a much weaker schedule and being the featured guy on offense. I think he'll be a special player for us but alot has to go right with his health.

Comparing Chandler to Alvin Kamara the Pro player is different then comparing him to the college player.

Alvin Kamara was always special and was an amazing college RB. However, he has become even better as a pro.

Chandler is like Alvin Kamara the backup when Hurd was the starter. The difference is that chandler doesn’t have the vision or break tackle ability that Kamara had.

I agree. He'll definitely play in the league. But he'll be an average NFL RB rather than an All-Pro superstar like Kamara and Kelly.
Your on crack again I see.Chandler is explosive. Best top end speed we have had in a long time at the rb position. Also catches the ball extremely well out of the backfield. I love Alvins game also but give Ty a year or 2 more to develop.

Never compare a Vol to those communist! I understand being that close to the state line could blur your judgment. Face it daily myself. Lol

Coaches need to keep him in there for the screens, pitches, and wild cats. We need speed on offense

I think Chandler is a great back and the best on the team. He is versatile, he can break big runs and has good hands coming out of the back field. He is also one of the only guys on our team with elite speed. He takes small holes or a simple pass and turns them into big plays. I definitely think Jordan is the more physical back, but Jordan likes to hesitate and it has resulted in negative plays or no gain. They are a good one-two punch though. I think Banks will be a very good back too. The better the OL gets, the better the RBs will get.
