I would think that if this was the case, which I have heard several suggest, then Propst would want to at least get through tonight ( they play in the high school semi-finals in GA tonight) before an announcement ???

Full time coaching slots. Helton took up two with OC/QBs. Propst can’t be hired as an analyst because of Peterson and Shamburger.

From what I’m hearing, it’s really close to getting done. I have no clue of the details. My personal opinion based on what I’ve heard about the amount of movement and activity going on, is that it gets done. Again, that part is my educated guess.

Devil is going to be in the details of the contract.

Good question and one I am curious about as well, as UF is my most hated team.

So, that makes him 3-2 vs Mullen. I'd gladly take 60% win vs UF.
I know that's not the case just because (if) we hire CHF, but we're just talking here.

I have been told the same. Don’t know timeline but that it has been cleared and that now not a matter of if but a matter of when it will be announced

was told also everyone involved has had multiple conversations together....
deal is done and waiting on announcement

Don't see that happening. He's one of our best recruiter's and don't think he would take a demotion to an off the field position. He's one of the Coach's we need to keep happy..He's probably our best recruiter after JP.

I completely agree with that, but that’s exactly why I think he would get moved to off the field for recruiting purposes. Doesn’t necessarily mean a demotion ... especially if there’s no money cut. I’m just speculating here while waiting on an announcement haha

Not only that, an off the field coach is seriously inhibited in the contact they are allowed to have with recruits.
